Thanks everyone so much - I knew I wasn't incorrect when I told them that transfer vinyl is for cloth & Vinyl decal is for windows, banners & hard surfaces

I'm having a conversation with someone who says that Transfer Vinyl is for signage. I thought that Transfer vinyl is for cloth & Vinyl decals were for windows, banners & things like that. Is there somewhere I can find the definitions on what vinyl is for what? Something like an index? Thank you in advance for your help Plaigh Designs

Hello everyone ~ I just received a 48 US Cutter Laser point and the issue I am having is when I need something cut that is longer than the diagram shows it wants to cut horizontally and runs right off the vinyl when I need it to cut vertically. What can I do to have this thing cut the long way rather than across the vinyl for larger / longer tasks? Like this: Thanks in advance for anyone who can help or has advice
