    Not cutting complete

I also found that enabling overcut pays dividends too. Not sure if thats available in SBE but it is in flexi. Overcut basically tells the cutter that where the cut line stops continue on cutting for 0.xxmm after that point to ensure all cuts are closed.
  2. Ok I hope its as simple as that, so how do I delete the extra lines, just eraser tool over them? (haven't got it installed on this computer to test it)
  3. When I go through the standard steps for contour cutting, I convert the image to 1 color bitmap but the problem is, if its an image with a lot of colors, lets say its a photo for example, I get white holes inside the image too because its impossible to adjust the threshold so the entire image is blackened, there are always bits in the middle because they have a white color that are traced around also. So lets say I have a cartoon image, his eyes and shirt are white, I have dark garment transfer paper and a black tshirt. I don't want to be cutting out the white eyes because then when I press it onto the shirt it would show the black shirt rather than the white transfer paper. Hopefully makes sense, I can't think of any scenario where I would ever want cutlines inside a contour cut for tshirt transfer paper (but all tutorials seem to have this). If anyone could give me a pointer on how to do it that would be great, I have signblazer, inkscape, signcut x2. Illustrator cs4.

    blade offset

I don't have it in front of me, so I might be a bit off, but if you open the cut dialog window, at the top where it has your cutter listed, click properties, then click on job defaults and there is an option then for it.

Contour Cutting in Flexi Pro with a Laserpoint

I had the same issue as a few people above, the cut line was well off, when I measured the distance and inserted into the uscutter driver it didn't make any difference to where it drew the cut line (restarted the program after making changes and everything). another few issues I had 1) under contour settings the registration marks option only has "none" as an option but it still does print the marks 2) when i load the paper into the cutter and align the laser over the first reg mark and click cut I don't get any prompt to align the second mark, shouldn't it be interactive to align the marks? it just starts cutting/plotting.
  6. I have the LP24 with signcut, illustrator cs4 and flexisign pro 8.1. I have failed at using flexisign to contour cut, but I have successfully done the examples with signcut. So I guess I will keep trying with this software. So what i want to do, is print an image onto a heat transfer paper for a dark garment and contour cut it. Lets say the image is a photo with lots of colours including white inside the body of it. I want to open it as a jpg in illustrator, draw a thin black line around the outside of the image (so my contour cut doesn't have to be perfectly aligned since its a black tshirt). Add in registration marks, send it to my epson printer. Create a cut line that fits the outside edge exactly (not offset). Send that cut line to signcut and send it to the cutter. Can someone provide a quick tutorial for this? I am pretty well stuck at the point where I try and import the image into signcut but it doesn't show up (probably because its a raster image). and i also don't know how to create the cutline.
