Hey Guys, Been a while since I've been on this forum - Recovering from a dislocated knee is now helping me up my computer time Anyways, I have been approached by a friend of mine about cutting a decal for his car. He emailed me a picture of the word "SOARER" and asked if I can cut it. I said yes, not a problem..... in hind-sight, probably shouldn't have.. Anyways this is for a show car that I am partially sponsoring and would like to do this for him. I've searched through all of the "brand logo" sites tried browsing through fonts, and everything inbetween. I've also tried on numerous occasions to vectorize this myself. Seems I can't get it to come out even halfway usable. If someone has a free minute to see what they can come up with, I'd be greatly appreciative. Thanks all

Doing a banner for my garage, and I'm in need of the All Trac logo from a Toyota Celica/Camry/Corolla/Previa Anybody have anything? I can't even find a good image on the web to vector from.

Alright, I've been contracted to do some apperal for an up and coming paintball team; The One Eyed Demons. I was supplied with 2 low resolution facebook pictures to work from; love it when they do that. I am currently working on this and am slowly making progress, but I am having issues. The banner over the head reading "OED" I have remade from scratch (about as hard as picking my nose) the demon face itself is the challenge. I am running Illy CS5 and tried to cheat with the live trace. Got a decent result, but it's too much to clean up. So I started with a 50% dimmed image to start hand tracing. Now my original thought, since this will not be a cut image, was to trace half of the face, then copy and reflect it. so far that's not working so well. I am also "layering" vector shapes over each other to get the final image. As I said, this will not be a cut image, for print only. If anyone has any pointers, or would like to take a quick crack at it, let me know. This one is a bit tricky, for me at least.

I'm in need of some mud splash vectors. Going to be used for the side of a pick up. I have searched the net for days and have nothing usable. Ideally I'de like to find the ones from the new Raptor F150, but anything will work at this point. I have been playing around with some of the grunge brushes I have as well as vector grunge splashes, but they are not giving me the desired effect...... help

The pictures were emailed to me by the customer. He just scanned a page from the brochure.

Thanks for the input, but as I stated, my vectoring attempts thus far have been unable to produce a quality outcome. I am diligentley working on it, the reason for the request was thinking someone might already have this image cut ready. thanks again

here is the pic of the actual boat with stripe on it. BTW the guy took the original off due to being aged fairly well.

No luck searching for this, and no luck vectoring with out it looking like poo. I've attached a pic of the boat and the original graphic that I'm looking for. If it helps, it's a 2000 skeeter bass boat 20' long I'm looking for just the stripe with or with out the outline. I was able to find the word "Skeeter" on seek logo, but nothing for the stripe. thanks guys

I'm lookg for some camo vinyl.... where is this stuff? I can't find it anywere anymore. Then to make it worse, I need 2 pcs of it 2" wide by 20 foot long Thanks to all who have some input for me.

printed..... plain and simple. no muss, no fuss. Sub out and collect some cash for basically nothing, aside from a few emails and phone calls.

I tried that approach to pricing (not that low) some 6x6 decals when I very first started cutting. I had no clue of fair market value or anything like that so it was a complete newb experience. Yea moral of story, you will lose your @$$ as $1 for a 5x5. On paper you make money, but in real world with the cost of utilities and equipm. maint., and TIME you are actually losing well over twice your "projected" profit per decal.

Not sure price feasability, but I've seen companies online that do the hot stamping. Might be something to look into. It actually melts into the plastic and adds color at the same time. I don't remember the site names off top of my head, but if you search for hot stamping you should find a few out there.
