Yeah, viynl here the prices vary. I have the chart that shows how much my vinyl is psf, psy and I think even psi but when I punched every thing in I said WTF really super low and since had not done any banners yet had no idea how long it would take to put them together. Took us most of the day for the 4 because of the logo and stuff. Though my "helper" slows me down but have to let him help to avoid hurt feeelings. Rainy day, not much else to do anyway. I guess I could go $5 psf for these folks, and higher for next jobs. Thanks guys!

Just made 4 banners at really special price for some friends and now have order for 4 more. I haven't had a chance to make up a prioe list yet and these were my first banners. Whats the price going for 3' x 10' banner, 4 colors? Thanks for any help!

Hey Joe, Have you tried facebook? You can open up a store page under your account for free, and run an ad on the side for a very reasonable price. Must be good price because I've seen local guys on an ad and I KNOW they're broke! And uploading pictures of your latest stuff is also possible, just like a photo. I'm trying that today on my page with a banner we just made and a sign. Also added a business card because I do desktop publishing stuff too.

Hmm good question. Might have a little buildup. But the problem seemed mostly to be with the roll I was using, when finally finished with that color had little trouble with the rest. It was pretty hard to weed also and cut weird, some cuts too deep, some too light, all on same strip. Had practically rerolled the whole roll a couple of times. Bad roll? Anyway, got the banners done, turned them in Tuesday, guy called me yesterday (Wednesday) for 4 more. Guess he liked them

OK, finally had the MH871 up and running, cutting the banners. 2nd on, had test fed twice, did ok, Started cutting, almost at end the head got under the vinyl and got stuck. hit the reset button, stopped but was at kill button. Pulled out vinyl, cut it off, turned off machine, pulled head to middle, turned on, hit reset. head keeps running straight to red kill button. Now what???

Plans are to make enough money with this one to upgrade, IF I can keep the darn thing working. :-

yay! 3 hours later and umpteen trials, seems ready to go! Now if it will cut the darn banners I'm set!

Hi Guys, Have a job for 4 10' banners. Using SignCut and CS4 Illustrator. I lined the vinyl up both sides, put down the rollers, did a test feed. Vinyl running all over the place, have tried everything several times. Help??? How do I get it to track straight. Never did this before.
