I think I have it dialed in now - new clean cut blade and some good "fresh" vinyl. Now the hell do you guys/gals weed this stuff LOL. I need a self standing magnifying glass. I kind of cheated and used capital letters :-)

I think I saw that. I'll give it a try Thanks

Not sure if this is an offset issue or something else. I'm using a Copam CP-2500 w/ a 45 degree clear cut blade via SCALP on a Mac Say I cut a square, the sides are straight and the corners are 90 degrees. However where ever the blade starts then ends there is a little piece of vinyl not cut that I have to kind of pull apart when weeding. Is there another setting I should be looking for in SCALP or is this an offset issue? I have my blade, pressure and speed set correctly that I can cut very very tiny text but it's hard to weed because of these unfinished cuts (not sure what to call them) I did some amazing cuts last night but had some problems weeding the smaller areas because of this issue. Thanks in advance -Jim

I was planning on going with our display house (I'm in the trade show business) but picked up a free pass curtsy of US Cutter and their free ticket offer (front page) I'm heading over there this afternoon.

Show was very large and well attended (both exhibitors and attendees), even on the last day of the event (when most trades shows are very slow). UScutter had a small 10x20 booth, and all the major players where in attendance. Mostly "very large" format printer. Picked up some vinyl and app tape samples as well as my first interaction with sisser heart transfer. A company called yellotools was there with some custom signmakers tools (picked up one of their pen knife/weeder and some vinyl roll clips. Also picked up sample books from gerber, oracal (very nice spiral bounded - better then the old book I had from them), KK Label and brochures galore. I did notice that most booths that where not cutter/plotter manufacture related where using Graftec cutters to demo their vinyl/app tape/tools/software. Sorry no pictures.

You could have exported it as a jpg file.

Been lurcking the forums for a while, while I learn some things so I could make a better educated purchase. Well about 2 weeks ago I purchased my first "real" cutter (been doing small decals for our local group with a cricut and SCAL). I purchased a Copam CP-2500, greatfully I get a bunch of free viynal from a vendor of the company I work for and it allows me to practice and play. This is more or less a hobby purchase for our local car group but I hope to cover the cost of my first purchase over the next few months. I want to let USCutter know the main reason I went with their company, over others, was because of these forums. I've learned so much but have only scratched the surface. -Jim
