I needed to cut some reflective vinyl so I had to get a 60* blade. I ordered a few from Clean Cut Blade. I thought I'd test them out on some regular 651 vinyl. Here is a pic of the result. This was with a MH 871-MK2 It lifted out without a single tag. I'd say that's pretty good.

You need download Ghostscript and adjust some setting in you computer. I was having the same problem trying to open those file type. I found a post during a google search about loading Ghostscript and adding some varibles in the windows registry. Now it opens up everything. I'll see if I can find the post later.

It seems like they wait forever to pull their chutes. How many hit the water? I figure with all those flips and spins 1 or 2 lose their bearings.

Jaybird quit fondling the DNS and maybe your PC will let you login.

I've had my MH871 for a few weeks now. I know it's a value cutter. I need to add graphics to golf carts and I didn't have alot of money. I've been losing my a$$ in wasted vinyl. Here's the problem. I started using it with the USB cable on some small stuff with the program it came with (Sure Cuts A LOT PRO). It gave me some problems like I had to unplug the USB cable after every cut before I could cut again. I did the #1 suggestion on here and got a true keyspan, not a knockoff. This helped with the small stuff I was cutting.... But the BIG problems started when I tried to cut some bigger stuff. It's a VERY SIMPLE flame vector that's 21"x9" and 16"x19". With the keyspan it would cut random diagonal lines in the image. Completely ruining the vinyl. I tried it many times and each time was in a different spot. (and Sure Cuts A Lot is activated) So I called uscutter and he told me NOT to use a keyspan and that they used the USB on all the cutters in tech support. He also tried to tell me my image was too big. I was frustrated and hung up. Like I said this image is very simple I DID try the USB but I ran into another problem, the cutter wouldn't cut the diagonal lines but now it STOPS at random times. I wasted more vinyl testing this a few times. So I've wasted shit loads of expensive cast vinyl and tons of time. NOW here's the big kicker. I borrowed my brother's Flexi 10 pro and guess what??? It cut the whole thing without a problem using the keyspan. I didn't test it by the USB because it was late and I didn't want to waste anymore vinyl. Can anything help me figure this out??? I can't afford to buy flexi for myself. I'm doing simple images and really just need something that will cut these graphics. Just so you know I've grounded the stand and cutter extremely well with a redundant ground going to the wall outlet. Help!!!

I have a 12"x60" roll of 3M Silver Anthracite carbon fiber I'm trying to sell. It's left over from when I wrapped a golf cart with it.

Thank you everyone for your help. I sat down with the own and had alittle talk. I told him basically what we discussed here and now we're back with the original Eagle. He's definitely a difficult person to work with. I'm just hoping something comes out of all this. I'm tired of constantly spending money. I need to start making some money soon. Again...... Thanks -

I'm using an MH-871. I know it's no graphtec but I have to make money to be able to upgrade. To me, something like this would be too detailed for such a small size. A few more inches and it would look great because you'd be able to see the detail but at 4" I'm not sure. -

No rush considering I'm not even sure what to do..... -
Calm down guys. I was joking..... Sorry I forgot the LOL. I support a free market. Sell for whatever price you want. The customer will determine whether you stay in business.
-
I was thinking the same thing. Mark up on vinyl is crazy and I think everyone here is ripping people off. I mean all you're doing is removing peices of vinyl from a sheet and then selling it for 6-10x what you paid for it.

8 Piece Job, 2 color, removal...can someone check my numbers?
Go-C Graphics replied to motoxchic's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
I need to start doing that on everything I do. Whenever I work on a neighbors car it always ends up taking me ALOT longer then I planned. -
I don't know about you guys but the first thing I thought of was University of Kentucky. Welcome

There's no point in flagging it. You always want to buy low and sell high. If someone is willing to buy it for that price then so be it. That's called free market
