WARNING TO EVERYONE!!!!

Oh I didn't think about it that way. What about magazines? How are they allowed to buy a picture and then mass produce it and sell magazines. Just stating this........... I'm not trying to start an argument. Just trying to have a friendly discussion. -

SO have to ask. How can you sell a picture of Labron James that you took BUT you can't sell a painting that you painted of his likeness. That's what you guys are saying right? -
What are you guys talking about?? What's snow? I walked out to drive to work and it was almost 70*. HAHAHEHE

I tried using whatthefont but I couldn't come up with anything. Can anyone help me with this?
-
I tried signblazer also. Signblazer would take off and start unrolling all the paper. I couldn't get it to cut anything. Again. With Flexi I don't have any problems.

I'm beginning to think it's less of a memory thing and more of how the software and drivers are handling the data transfers. Even with a keyspan I can't get SCALP to cut anything large. Small things come out OK but large items do not. BUT Load the same image into Flexi and it cuts all day long without a single hiccup. I was even able to draw that crazy tow truck that someone posted in another topic. Just food for thought.

I think I'm going to stop by harbor freight tomorrow. This looks like fun. Can anyone give some part number to what you should get to start off. I have a huge 60gallon 2 stage compressor. Just interested in a gun to play around with alittle.

Does your charts have samples of Oralite in them. Mine doesn't.

I've been working on creating a logo. I have Logo design pro I got from Office depot for $5 when they were closing the store. It's a pretty good little program. Anyways, I've been working on a few ideas and I wanted your input. Here's what I'm looking for. I like the idea of a colorful logo. Orange and blue are cool colors (Go Gators) but I'm open to other color suggestions. I have White reflective I'd like to use on my truck because I think it'll really stand out at night so I'd like to keep all the letters White. What do you think? Vote for your favorite. #1 #2 #3 #4

Looks good DNA. Like the others have said. I'd support it alittle more. Very functional though.

OK. I downloaded the font BCOJ posted and it's a really jagged edge font. If you zoom in it looks like a 2yo drew the lines. Is this just the way the font is? If I download it from somewhere else will it be the same?
-
Holy crap you guys ROCK!!!!! Thank you Mark for being so quick on the trigger. Thank you BCOJ for the awesome link to download it And thank you slice for your wise words of wisdom.

No Pictures = Ban!!!!!! LOL J/K!

And the winner is............................................. Thanks you everyone for your Votes. I plan on putting on the normal underneath it. *Sign *Banner *Vehicle Graphic *Decals Speaking of....... I have a question. If you were describing your company, How do you describe what you can do? Do you say Vehicle Graphics, Vehicle Lettering, or Vehicle Advertising? Do you just say it's a Sign and graphic's company?

That is awesome. I really like that.

Two attempts, two different miscuts

Same thing was happening to me with my MH-871. The only way I can get it to cut large or detailed images was to use the Flexi software to cut. I think it's a problem with the SCALP software -
Next time give Oralite 5600 a try. I think you'll like it alot more. It's easy to weed and doesn't tear like 5500

Current votes are #1 ---> 12 #2 ---> 4 Anyone else want to place their votes? I'm leaning toward #1 being on the truck and using #3 on invoices and email signatures.

What did you use for reflective vinyl?
-
Talk about a random request and a super fast response. I love how he actually had that image. LOL
-
That is awesome. Good job!

MH871 with Vinylmaster Cut?

My MK2 will only work on 9600 baud rate. Make sure you clear the buffer after EVERY job sent. I push the rest button. Other people turn it off and on. If I forget to hit the reset button it'll do the stairs like you're talking about.
