How do you do that Mark?

I'm looking for an eagle head like the one below. I've found a few that you can buy but it got me wondering. Who has the best deals for paid vectors? What sites do you use?

Cheapest/Best paid site for vectors

See $1 an image is resonable. They wanted $18 for the image I posted above. To me that's CRAZY for something that probably took them 10-15 min to do. -

Pricing for removal of deteriorating decals
Go-C Graphics replied to kal259's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
Eraser wheels work great on car decals. I don't see why they won't work here. You're basically just rubbing the adhesive off with a rubber wheel. You'll go through several wheels with your large project so just make sure you factor in that cost. -
Welcome from up here in Tavares FL. I'm only about a hour from you.

For those that have made their own catch baslet. What type of material do you use to make it out of that won't increase static electricity? -
Looks good......

Thanks I'll run out and get some tomorrow I'll try that. Is the MH871 a rebadged redsail? As soon as I make a few dollars from these jobs I'll buy it. What's the difference between Flexistarter and Pro? -
Nope, Came out of Memphis TN. I know it's not really their fault. I can't blame them. They had it shipped by Thursday. Hell, Fedex has had it 45 mins away since early Friday afternoon.

Pricing for small window decals

I read this formula on here all the time. BUT I think it's important to state what kind of vinyl you're using. (W+H)/2 sounds like the standard for Oracal 651 but what about 751? Or Reflective? -
Front or Back? Which side is YOUR vinyl rolling out from?
Go-C Graphics replied to slice&dice's topic in Instructional Contributions
My question is................. Do you use both rollers and set the vinyl roll on top OR do you run one roller through the center of a roll on vinyl? -
I wish i got my stuff as fast as you guys. This is my first order. I ordered it Wed 10/02 and I'm not going to get it till Mon 10/07. I was hoping to get it by Saturday. I'm probably going to just pay an extra few dollars and get it from a local distributor.

So I've come up with another way of grounding your cutter to help prevent static. Alittle background. I'm a Clinical Engineer for a hospital. My primary goal it to make sure medical equipment is safe to use in a hospital. One of the things we do is check electrical safety of every piece of equipment annually and sometime twice a year. Well often we see equipment failing due to a bad power cord or just from a poor design from the manufacture. I'm thinking that if very expensive medical equipment can fail electrical safety who's to say these value cutters are any better. I haven't brought home my testers from work but I'd be willing to bet they don't have the best ground specs.. One of the things we do is install a redundant ground on equipment and that'a what I've done. You can get one of these from any hardware store. You use it to replace a broken plug but I only used the ground prong from it. Than you simple use a wire from your cutter to the stand and then wire in this plug end. After that you simple plug it into another wall outlet. This will provide a another direct ground from your cutter to the outlet. Just an idea if anyone is having static problems.

Just wanted to introduce myself. I recently started my own company vinyl wrapping Golf carts in The Villages Florida. It hasn't been doing very good so I decided to try my hand at graphics. I'm hoping custom graphics are an easier sale then full body wraps. Alittle about myself, My brother has been in the Window tint, vinyl wrapping business forever. He also does some vinyl graphic designs for his customers. So He's been helping me out alittle. Just got my MH-871 plotter a week again and I've spent all my free time going through forums and learning the different softwares. I'm currently using Inkscape and SCALP These are my first decals I've ever done. What do you think? This one I was just playing around. Thought I'd do a decal for the crossfit gym I go to. This one was for my GF's roommate. Just stopping by to say HI!!!!! Thanks for the great forum.
