    Need Owl Graphic Please

My sister would like me to cut some owls for her daughter's room. She wants more of a whimsical owl and not realistic. I tried to search for "owl" on here but a search term has to be more than three letters and I didn't find any under "owls". Do any of you have ones you can share or know where some are on here? Thanks a bunch!

    font id please

Not sure if this is it but it looks very similar to Portabello Shadow. http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/shyfoundry/sf-portabello/shadow/
  3. Artcut is very "picky" about where files where created. I can almost always open .eps files that were created in Corel or passed through there. I have the Corel software so whenever I get a .eps file that Artcut can't read I open it in Corel and re-export it into .eps and then Artcut can usually open it. It's a pain but at least it works.

    Need jpg converted to vector

I need a jpg image converted to a vector graphic. A friend wants me to cut some decals for her son's baseball team and they only have it in a jpg. I've vectorized simple graphics before but this one has three colors (white, black, red) and I don't know how to do it and still be able to break them apart to cut the individual colors to layer. How much would any of you charge to do this and how do I pay? Attached is what they gave me. Thanks in advance.

    Will SignBlazer work with Summa?

Thank you Jay!!! The patch worked just fine and now my cutter is listed on the setup menu for SB. However, I still can't get it to communicate with my cutter. I'm not sure which output device to choose. I've tried USB001 and Blazer.Com1 and Blazer.lpt1 and none work. The cable on the machine is a serial cable and it is connected to the USB port on my computer using a USB to serial converter cable. Any suggestion? Thank again!!

    Will SignBlazer work with Summa?

I was just given a used SummaSign Pro T750 (lucky me!!). I was using a Pcut with Artcut 2009 software. The T750 isn't listed in Artcut as a cutter choice so I thought I'd try SignBlazer that people here often recommend. However, I don't see any Summa's on the cutter list. Any ideas? If I have to, I'll buy new software but since this is a used cutter I want to make sure it's working OK before I invest any money in it. Oh, once I figure out the driver problem I'll have another question. The parallel port size is different on the Summa than it was on my pcut. They look very similar but there's a slight size difference. The Summa came with a serial cable. I have a "USB-A to Serial Cable" and would like to be able to use it so I can cut from my laptop that only has USB ports. So will the set up be a serial port (com1, lpt, ?) or a USB port setting? I hope this even makes sense. Thank you very much for any help you can give me!!

    Looking for Static Cling

Thanks everyone. Does anyone know of any other material that can be cut on a cutter that has no tack and is at about 10-12 mil thick? I'm cutting stencils for a customer that wants to be able to clean off and reuse. To pandc, I used to get my cling from Signwarehouse but like Jay said, they stopped carrying it. The last two rolls I got were from Proveer (used to be Sign Supply) and were the same brand (Avery) and style I always used but the cling isn't sticking to the backing as well as it used to so it isn't cutting cleanly. It pulls up off the backing a little as it cuts and causes some drag and mis-cutting.

    Looking for Static Cling

I recently found this forum and LOVE it! You are all so helpful and nice. Does anyone know where I can find white (or any color, not clear) static cling vinyl in about 10-12 mil thickness? I have been using 8 mil but it's not quite thick enough for my customer's needs. I would need it in a 24" in width. I currently go through about 8 rolls of 24x50 yard rolls per year. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me! TexasMom
