Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

    pistol

Thanks. Couldn't get the second one to download, but was able to use the revolver.
  3. I have a (hopefully) simple question for the experts on the forum. I have a customer that is ordering a set of vehicle magnets and he has requested that they be laminated. What should I laminate them with? I've been reading product information of the various laminate products, and haven't found what I'd call a hands-down winner. Any recommendations? And the follow up question is- Is there a vendor that sells small rolls of laminate material? I see mostly 150 foot rolls. Or does anyone want to sell a couple of yards? Thanks. Steve

    Vehicle template request

Thanks Proto! I finally found the DigitalDesignware site last night. However at $49 for the template, I can take a road trip with my camera and tape measure. Steve
  5. Does anyone have a template for a 1999 4dr Ford Explorer that they would be willing to share? I hadn't had any luck finding one online. I've done some work for this customer before, and he just got a "new" vehicle that he wants lettered. All I've seen so far is a cell phone picture. Haven't been able to get any good pictures to use as a template. Thanks. Steve
  6. There used to be a feature from the phone company called signal ring or distinctive ring. It assigned a second number to a single phone line. I used it about 15 years ago when I sold computers. Home phone and business phone shared the same line, but had different ringers. Personal calls rang normally, business calls rang twice. Steve

    Barbed Wire

    Thanks! Steve
  8. I have an LP24 that has a new motherboard installed. The old board died about two months ago, and after first receiving a dead motherboard from USCutter, I finally got a good one. I think. With the new board installed, the cutter sets up and the display appears normal. When I connect it to my computer (same one as before the motherboard was replaced), Windows 7 detects the device and all looks good. I create a simple object in SignBlazer and make sure the cutter settings match my device. Click "Cut" then "Cut tile". It shows data being sent and the screen shows the path of the blade, but nothing happens on the cutter. I've tried USB, serial, a USB to serial adapter and nothing changes. It appears that the cutter is not receiving the data from the computer. Anybody have any suggestions? I'm planning to call USCutter tomorrow when I get home, but I figured I'd ask the experts that hang out here in the mean time. Thanks for any and all suggestions. Steve

    US Cutter Grommet Press

Has anyone been watching these on eBay? USCutter has them for sale ending about every 24 hours. I've seen them go as high as $61. You can order them directly from USCutter for less, even after paying for shipping. Steve

    T-Shirt questions

Thanks for the info. I believe the shirt are all mediums, so I'll shoot for around 8-9". Thanks for the prompt replies. I appreciate the help. Steve
  11. I've been ask by a friend to cut lettering for the back of three t-shirts. She and two students are participating in the St. Baldrick's project this spring and want "Team" shirts. My question is what is the "standard" size of lettering on the back of a t-shirt? Does it vary with the size of the t-shirt? I'm planning to arch the team name over the teacher/student name. Thanks! I did search and either didn't use the right keywords, or missed it entirely. Steve

    Plexiglass signs

There used to be a company in Mansfield that made picture frames and other items from acrylic. I just checked and they are still in business and have a website. http://www.eldridgeacrylics.net/ Steve
  14. OK, this is driving me nuts this morning... I am cutting a file that I created in Corel and brought into Sign Blazer. Everything looks good, and I have cut this file before. The problem is my pressure and speed are changing. This is on an LP24. I loaded my vinyl, set my origin and made sure that my speed was at 60 and pressure was at 120. Both of those setting work with the vinyl that I have. I sent my file to the cutter, and when it was finished, I noticed I was having a difficult time weeding. When I sent my next file to the cutter, again, I set my origin and checked the speed and pressure. The speed was 70 and the pressure was 100. That explains why I was having problems weeding. Any ideas what can cause the speed/pressure to change? It doesn't change on every cut, just some of the cuts. I am connected to my computer via USB cable. Thanks for any and all suggestions. Steve
