MH871 does not go "home" orgin

My first thought was to try it here - got plenty of ideas and tips of this website. I will call them tomorrow and let you guys know if something comes up --- thanks
  2. Hi Guys, My equipment: MH871 36 inch, Corel Draw X4, FlexiStarter 8.6 V2, Dell GX 620 1G Graph 4G Mem, serial connection to cutter and grounded. My problem: After the cut the knife lifts not up and go to the beginning position (orgin) I have to press the reset button. This happens every time. The cutter just cut fine until 2 weeks ago. The second problem does not occur that often - there are strange lines in the object. These are not double lines forgotten in the original drawing because I cut the same project without problems before. My files are not large and complicated Any thoughts? thank you!

    Puzzled about technical drawing trace

Mike, the drawings I found mostly in "walk around books" this drawing is from this book below http://www.historicaviation.com/product_info.po%3bjsessionid=uHSq0hbCwjBbSUATm7O1Ri0x?ID=6554 Later on I will develop new drawings from actual pictures. That avoids copyright issues. With the problem solved about the outline to object the work goes faster. Guess most of my vinyl design work will be in the aeronautic area.

My MH 871 came Friday and by Saturday I was cutting - here is one example... Yep, this I my first cutter
  8. The same question I ask in the Corel forum - maybe is there an answer too in the Flexi corner here we go: Well, I got my MH871 on Friday and the setup was straight forward and cutting was not that hard. Now I bounce in an issue, when I scan a line drawing and trace it in CorelDraw X4 - I can modify the outline thickness after I delete the original. BUT, the cutting software (Flexi) don't 'see' the thick outlines and only the wire frame How do I convert these lines. I did it here the hard way and draw all lines -- 2.5 hrs work, to much for my taste. Is there another method?? In the picture you see a P-38M that graphic is 23.5 inches long (plus me on the phone - typical monday morning ) Thank you very much

Received my 3rd cutter and still problems

I'm just wondering when you have sooo much rays in your house - that a simple cutting machine don't work right... ...how much damage does it to you?

    MH-871 and winPCSIGNS pro

After reading some more and other forums I came to the conclusion to buy the US Cutter bundle. I could buy the 871 right now on e-bay but I would loose the rebate on the Flexi starter the bundle Models: 33'' With Stand + $140.00 Software: Included: SignBlazer Elements (Permanent Trial), and SignCut Productivity Pro (1-year license) Flexi Starter 8.5 for WIN with dongle+ $60.00 Add Vinyl: BGS 24'' x 3 Yard - 12 Color Pack+ $65.99 Total $515.98 I think that's a good bang for the buck -- thank you for the reply
  12. I'm about to buy a MH-871 and after research the best software for the buck is the win PCSIGNS pro --- if you don't want spend thousands of dollars. The question is this software compatible (will it work) with the US Cutter? The nice feature is on that software - you need only one. Not 3 different ones...

    Hi from Texas

Hi, this is G-Pete from Texas -- just north of Dallas I'm a metal processing engineer and I use CAD & CAM programs every day. I build and fly in my free time scale model airplanes. I kick for while now the idea around to buy a plotter. My eye is on a MH871 Besides I don't have to buy pre cut stencils anymore, I can make some window decals and support my hobby $$ wise Nice forum though!
