ok So im sure this has been asked before or a ton. but for some reason I still cant get it. I am trying to do some contour cutting on my sc series cutter. as everyone knows uscutter will not support contour cutting on the sc series even though its capable. so is there anyone out there that can walk me through the steps. ive tried the youtube video with the liyu one already with no luck. I understand I have to manually set up the registration points. I get the cut with in an inch or so from where it needs to be. I am using sure cuts a lot pro cutting software. I can get to the point in the program where it wants me to calibrate the machine and set the points but I cant use the cursors on the software cause it needs to be manually done. so I go though the process and when I get to the final registration mark on the software the cutter does nothing until I push the origin or current button on the cutter itself. so if anyone has any directions for me it would be much appreciated.

Does anyone know if the sc series will contour cut a jpeg of this with color or does it need to be eps or svg as well. I use scal pro 3

don't need the color just cleaned up so it can be cut.

I have an image I need vectorized was wondering if someone could help me. I just need to be able to cut the image. I have been unable to post the image. I can txt or email it. When I get home I will attempt on the PC to attatch the image. Its a gila monster.

hi. I cant seem to find a vector image anywhere. to purchase or for free. im looking for the kryptek camo in a vector image for cutting. got a buddy that wants to use it for stencils. I see it done all over the place but no one knows where to get the image. anybody out there that can help thanks.

Well its def a bit more then what I was hoping for. Im not doing a full on biz. Just small stuff out of my house trying to learn. Guess I will hold off for now. Def to expensive for me. There is no market here for a return large enough to warrant spending that kind of money. Thanks for all the info.

Can someone start me in the right direction about a decent size printer. I would like to print bannners, signs and all other type of medias. Working out of my house. I have a cutter its a us cutter entry level 24". Sc series. Might also looking at vetting another cutter. Basicly looking to get some decent model types of cutters and printers to make this happen. Dont need the complete high end models but the cost effective ones would be fine.

im starting out real small. got a smaller cutter. pretty happy with it so far. Not really trying to make any money right now more of a hobby. but I was thinking about trying out the printing. didn't realize it would take that large/expensive of a machine. not sure im in it for that kind of cash. just kind of do it ou of the sake of learning right now I guess.

im having an issue designing on SB and opening it in SCALP to cut. any tricks to doing this.

Does all of this pertain to the printer that im looking at the HP designjet.

HI my name is James. Im extremely new to the printing side of vinyl. I am looking at buying a printer. its a hp designjet 1055cm plus printer. great shape and low use. Im curious to know if it is compatible with windows 8 and can I use SCAL Pro to print from? Any answers would be helpful. Thanks
