When printing rectangle vinyls I have noticed some printers cut the vinyls out by hand with a blade. I use the multi purpose blade on the printer. Is there any particular reason for this?
Before printing an item my roland first rolls the material out about 15cm before printing. This causes alot of wastage. What is the reason for this and can I prevent it?
Why is it that when I load material onto my Roland VP540 it gives a width smaller than the actual material? For example I loaded a roll of vinyl which is 1260mm and it says 1129mm?
My Roland printer started making bad blotching / smudges. I was told that its due to the vinyl having a slight warp, when I checked i do see the warp. How do i get rid of it?
I just bought a vp540. I spoke to the Roland technician who maintained the machine and he said its in good condition. It's running good and I paid $7500.
