I charge by the square inch on my small designs. I use .10 for black and white, .12 for colored, and higher for the more expensive colors. As for now I only measure the design after it is cut and not the wasted material. I do keep most of my scraps that I think is big enough to cut something small or save them for my mom (she has a Cricket and these work well for her). My question is on a two or more color design for an example I have a design that will be black with orange outline. Someone said on here to charge .02 cents extra for each additional color. My black would be .10 cents sq inch and the orange will be .12 cents sq inch. Should I go with the highest cost and add .02 cents or how would you do this type pricing. This seems tough to me because on 2 or more color designs you really have a lot of wasted material. Thanks for any input Kim

I traced the parts of an image that I needed and traced bitmap in Inscape. The tracing came out looking good but the edges are all jagged. How do I get the smooth outline? I also tried tracing the outline in corel and same results. Tried to up load the pics but said folder was full or something. Please direct me with a solution. thanks Kim

I had the same problem from Corel to Signblazer. I think when I got it over to Signblazer I grouped it and worked fine. Not real sure because I tried so many different things. Hope this helps someone. Kim

This is going to be screen printed on the front of a racing shirt. Here is what I have so far. Can anyone help me make it more presentable or look better. One other thing is the design will be small not the whole shirt. It will sit right below the collar. I do not have a specific size yet but not a whole front design. I have thought about doing coasters from tile but was wondering if they would need to be sealed or anything. If you sit a glass on the vinyl it looks like after time of getting wet the vinyl would start lifting. What is you opinion on this? Would you just use wal-mart clear coat on top? Thanks Kim
