Do you mean you put the stars on yourself instead of having flexi put them on and cut them out? I figured out that if I go under options and choose send all colors and then tell it to pause between colors, flexi aligns the squares up correctly. For some reason though it cuts the squares into 4 triangles. I don't know why it would do that. So you would stick the two colors together before sending it to the customer? Is it harder for the customer to peel the backing off and then the transfer tape off when there are two colors layered without it trying to pull the two colors apart? Thanks ok i did this very same thing for the past few day i.e - layering in flexi . so what i would do is add a star or box from the temples on the left hand side menu bar identically in the same spot on both colours and then match them up using a light source from below the images so they line up straight . what i also suggest is you cut away the backing paper from only this area . this will give you a better chance to line it up straight. i would also layer the two colours together before sending it to the customer. if its done right there will be no chance of it separating. if you get stuck go to youtube and put in layering vinyl . there are some great tuts on this . it amazing how it helped me and it will for you

Questions before purchasing
the vinyl tree replied to RPM Graphics's topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Discussion
hey, im running a p-cut 1200 model at the moment and its not bad . if i had my time again i would do more research in to the cutters on the market, as the p-cut was a big pain in the a^s to set up and fine tune. having said that its a good starting machine . im not shore on whether it will run with your software or not, as im running flexi 7.6 with mine. pete -

dan , i don't follow any particular airbrush artists but i do enjoy watching the Danial power series that my wife bought me last Christmas. and from time to time i jump into the kustom kulture lounge forum to see what new and who's doing what projects and work.(cause damm they know what they are doing!!). you should check it out some time at kustomkulturelounge.com but for the moment its been very quite for this little black duck on the airbrushing scene . id love to check your work out at sometime if your up to emailing it? pete -

thanks john for that . i had to post a reply to a similar where it was getting personal and as i said in the reply let me say that we all have to stick together as one on the unwritten rules that is this forum . 1.we give our own personal opinion without going on a personal attack of a poster 2. we ask for permission to use other peoples work from this forum and why 3. we all have differing reason we are in this industry -i.e -pleasure or to make a living from etc. 4. opinion are going to vary that what makes us unique. 5. share with openness to those who are trying to learn 6. we were all green at one point so don't judge (newbies) PS. - on a personal note i see all people on this forum new or old able to share what they know and it a comfort to me.
