After much frustration, and ordering parts that I don't think I really needed, I spoke with Shawn (Sean) yesterday in customer support at US CUTTER. We discussed what my cutter was doing (not doing) and he felt that it was the motherboard all along. Sent one out to me yesterday. Got kinda frustrated during this past week or so but I have to say, other than slow response to inquiries, US CUTTER is THE BOMB.I am planning on stepping up to a TITAN 2 (hopefully) if the next couple of jobs get completed.

Got this on that works great.

Still have the Insta 715 automatic release with swing away that works great. On graigslist but, REALLY negotiable.

New cutter .......in the near future ! I'm just a "tightwad", since officially retiring and doing sign work only.

Made one yesterday (waiting in cutter part) and works like a charm!!! THANKS for sharing.

Really can't complain too much since the are making everything right at N/C to me other that the parts already ordered. I'll basically have a "reconditioned" cutter by the time everything gets completed. Cutting strip, new carriage and mother board., good back up to have once I step up to the Titan 2.YOOOO HOOO!!!

Well.....an update. US Cutter told me that the motherboard would be shipped 2 day. When I checked the tracking @ Fed Ex won't be here until 2/17. Oh well, maybe I'll catch up on my fishing !!! Yea, right ??!!

Well, back again. Worked with Jessica @ US Cutter for quite a while Thurs or Friday (can't remember) and sent pics of results. She wanted me to send a Video but, unable to get one good enough to send and see anything clearly. Worked until nearly midnight last night and STILL same issue. Started again this morning. Made a cutting strip, since the one USC sent was cut unevenly and seemed to have been cut by a blind man, from a piece of reflective (thick) material. Started adjusting the downforce by increments of 10 all the way to the maximum setting, again barely visible marks showing in some areas and bold in others Ran a test cut with the pen and nothing! Tried it again with me just touching the tip of the pen and drew test pattern fine. DOWNFORCE on NEW carriage and cutting strip now seems to be the issue. ANY thoughts.........anyone!!??

Late responding, sorry. Did that, and no change. Ordered a new carriage from U S Cutter (per their recommended solution) and still same problem. Really frustrated. Don't want to order ANOTHER strip, but any other suggestions. Put in a "ticket" w/ USC but no response......yet.
