Need help installing SBE cut to print

What is the version number for the SBE that you installed? I have version 6.0.21 and cut to print works fine.
  2. Since I got my cutter back from USC I am still having a problem. The blade pressure does not seem to change at all no matter what I set it to. 0, 10 - 100 all cut right through the vinyl and backing. This was not a problem before I sent it in for repairs. Anyone have an idea of for a fix? Blade is set in holder properly.

    pressure not working

LP24 SBE and/or Flexi Starter I am still having major problems with the presure and blade hplder on my LP24. After much testing it seems that the cover on the blade holder is so loose that it turns and changes how much of the blade is showing or possibly the internal magnet (in the holder) is defective?? It goes both ways, the blade will suddenly be protruding to far and another time it will completely disappear into the holder. This machine is only 5 months old and has already been sent back for a new motherboard. The problem with the motherboard seems to have been completely remedied with the new board. Do you think the blade holder is defective? How can I further test it?

    Cut for test

Got my LP-24 back from USC yesterday. I can't say much for the customer service but the repair department did a great job getting this thing to work properly again. I let it warm up for a day before testing it out. Cut stencils, contours, vinyl, static cling, labels and they all came out fine. Here to show you is a decal that I decorated the printer in my office with.

    Gigatribe

Does anyone on this forum use "Gigatribe" file sharing software to share graphics files with others. I know there are threads on the forum for such things but I am wondering if there is a like thought of doing actual file sharing. Let me know if you are interested. You can check out the file sharing software at: www.gigatribe.com My wife uses it to share files for homeschooling and art & crafts. It may be an easy way to share graphics etc. in the cutter industry.

Signblazer freezes then have to reboot computer

Cutter, I was having some of these same issues. At first I thought it was a hardware issue but nothing I did fixed the problem. I tried to open the SBE file on my other computer and and it gave the error message that the file was damaged (corupt). When I opened it on the original computer it opened fine but the problem persisted. I uninstalled SBE and reinstalled it, then I deleted the corupt file and opened my "BAK" file and everything worked fine. You CAN reinstall SBE without any problems.

    MH-721 or Laserpoint 24

I have and use both. They are kept busy also. Maybe I will be able to warrant a pro cutter someday.

    Gigatribe

The transfer rates on a free gigatribe membership are pretty good. 2.2 gigs=6 sec. 5.2 gigs. 7 secs. These are the 2 biggest files that I have downloaded so far. For a file sharing enterprise those are pretty good times. And you can't beat the price. Come and join us. The more, the better. And you can share any type of files. That comes in handy. Also I put the registration mark file for SBE out there for all who are invited to download from me.

    Magnetic Signs

I just did these signs for the guys truck. The pic makes it look like there are jags in the vinyl but it is an optical illusion. Probably from my cheap camera.

  16. Does anyone have instructions for replacing the motherboard on an LP24. I received the board today and would like to swap it out tomorrow.
  17. Here is a picture of the glue that was holding the connectors in place for the motherboard on my LP24. Is it a common practice to smear glue over the connectors of the motherboards on these cutters? Replacing the MB resolved the issue of the cutter resetting itself every couple of minutes, but it is in far worse shape now than before. When trying to position the cutter blade (offline) the carriage will go first in one direction, then the opposite, all while pressing the left arrow. Same result when pressing the right arrow. Contour cutting will not work at all And that worked fine before. Test cuts are another story altogether, they certainly are not rectangles. I've also posted a pic of what it cuts when I try to cut the name "TOM". I'll post an update as we bring resolution to this problem.

I've fallen off the wagon . . .so to speak

We all have those moments. The positive comes from recognition, and moving forward, in a kindly manner in the future. It sounds like you have jumped right back on the wagon . . . "so to speak." Thank you for your support of others on this board.

For the Local screen print shop

These are two signs I made for the Christmas season for a local screen printing shop. The first two pictures are of one side of the signs and the third picture is of the opposite side on both.

  22. Is there anybody on this site that can outline the following information: Best and most economical mug press; Step by Step "How to" of mug press operation; sopplies needed and some links to purchase (things like what type and where to buy mugs, type of vinyl to use, etc.). The more I read about printing with vinyl on mugs the more confussing it becomes. Any help with this is appreciated. Thanks, Pastor Tommy
