Really tho shouldn't you be asking your client if you may show the work ?. You were hired to do a Job for them. They may not want their logo displayed on a website not related to them. Some owners are like that. Just cause What does your contract state. Do you retain ownership of all copyrights and get permission to display it ? For photographers and such the portfolio issue is kinda big thing.

Cut some 10" numbers out of some Arlon Black and Oracal 651 Red. When done the Oracal is wavy around the numbers 3,2, 8 . Straight lines in like 4 are fine. The Arlon is fine on all the numbers. I can't figure out why.

One issue you may have down the road is the MH has a stepper motor. Cutting the Hartco takes some force to cut. Sticky flock is less force but still up there. Its been recommended with these motors to cut twice with less force. If you search thru forums over at corel and others alot seem to have issues with X5. It doesn't appear to be as stable as x3 or x4 even with the service packs.

Hey I'm no lawyer myself nor did I stay at a Holiday Express or have a Red Bull or triple layer gum. I got no issues if someone infringes or thinks they aren't infringing or whatever. Not my ass. They are very nice looking boards not doubt. Did a really great job on them. However I don't believe I would come on a pubiic searchable forum and post pics of things I have made for whatever reason using images that are protected by US laws.(copyright or trademark) I wouldn't want the headaches and worries from a CR/TM suit or a C&D letter and two I don't have the money to pay big fines and lawyer bills. You think a lawyer for any of those schools really cares if they are for friends or buddies or a 4th of July BBQ's. No cuz if they allow him to do it then anyone can do it and its money out of the CR/TM owners pockets. Hell a million people could say Hey it was for personal use. Looking to buy a roll of banner material. I don't print on it just cut vinyl. Not sure what to look for. I recall reading should be scrim material. Not sure if that is important. Is it ? I want a white roll approx 32-36inches wide. What should I be looking for in banner material and who has good prices ? I do have a fellers in Tampa but seemed all I found were banner accessories not the material in the online catalog. Thanks Mark

Doesn't matter if its a hobby or for profit or for the Pope. Its still copyright infringement if you don't have permission to use them. . So the only assumption you can make is that hes a copyright violator . Theres nothing in the law says that if you do it for hobby or for friends its legal. So the for hobby is just a plain stupidity defense. And a costly one.

I have a OKI C5500 and thought of doing it but afraid it gets to hot for the vinyl. Oki tech says it runs at 450 degrees at its top temp. What paper selection are you using when sending the vinyl through ? Thanks mark

Its a ring given for love. It has a crown and heart and hands holding the heart. My x wife gave me one when we got married. Was the most painful fricken ring to wear. It has a crown and when IN love you wear it with the heart toward your heart. Everytime I put my hand in my pocket dang near ripped off my finger cuz the crown would catch on the pocket. And once you get married all you hear is the cladday of her voice do this, do that don't do that, no not tonite. LOL.

To Larry I had a cutter from Imprintables. Was called the Cutter 3000. Rebranded GCC Bengal. They ran a special deal for it for the Breast cancer month. Worked for a week. Then it went crazy. Ruth logged in and got it to work once. Wilver or however he spelled it, logged in and got it to work once. But when I went to cut the damn thing would just move the cutter head back and forth. It seemed like when I turned it off and then back on to use it later it would not work right. Or give me a USB error. Or do nothing. I even videod it and sent to GCC and Imprintables. It took a month of calling and emailing before Imprintables got GCC to send a new one. This one is the actual Bengal unit not a rebranded one. So as far as anyone is saying I doubt its you but the unit. I have been there. Done that. GCC may make a good cutter but their support sucks. Ruth was great for one or two times then stopped returning emails and answering calls. Wilver did too then heard he left GCC. Supposedly they were a maker for others and now just got into selling and their not setup for support to well. Probably why its taking so long. If you go over to tshirtforums.com you can read about GCC support issues with the rebranded unit. Which should have made no difference. Even my rep from Imprintables had a hell of a time getting GCC to respond to request for support. The new unit works pretty dang good. Oh and one other thing. Not sure about your unit but if running on win7 the Bengal at lesat needed a firmware update for the usb to work properly and you have to setup the unit by the controls to get it to set the right usb port mode. Not sure if that might apply to you. Good luck.
