it keeps cutting the length of the material as opposed to the width.

nevermind i figured it out. it had GX-24 in it. but now my question is i set the stuff to go across the vinyl but its not doing it the same as it shows in the software.

the one link that cutme posted has just the cutters USC sells its the US Cutter Version as well.

to be honest with you im not fully understanding. the SB i have only has cutters in it that USC sells.

How do i take an image that i have vectorized and change only the color of one part? It wont let me select the part i want to be a different color, it only lets me change the whole image.

Im working on realtor signs and all of a sudden the machine is starting to cut small random lines. The machine is a MH 721, it is grounded to the stand, and there are no stray node points that should be causing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. the sign is not that detailed and it didnt do this a few cuts ago. Here is a small description of what is happening. The "O" in "For" has a stray line that comes down off of it from the left side and the "S" in "Sale" . when it cuts "RELATOR" it takes a small piece out of the middle line of the "E". And on one of the boxes it cuts as if there is an off set problem for it. If you have any help let me know. I am so close to being able to get a graphtec.

well i finally got a roland gx-24, should be here on the 7th. what would be a good stand for it? is it better to have the media rollers right by the machine? or have disatnce between them? hopefully this cutter will open up my ability to cut much more detailed items, im moving up from the MH-721.

cost me about $900 including the purchase of a stand

couldnt pass up this roland the guy was getting out of the hobby and wanted to get rid of it fast so go it for a great deal. even with buying the stand it will be a great deal.

Some little BS mother out bid me by one cent today on ebay. om pissed that is some major BS.

Its amazing how this thing still wants to do random lines across the vinyl at times. the damn thing is grounded to the stand, and has the upgraded memory in it.

What are your thoughts on the Graphtec FC7000? what is the difference between the 7000 and the 8000?

so not only does ebay control paypal but now they want to increase the money they take from you off ebay.

On the average what are you all charging for a decal thats 20 x 67 4 lines words only. single color. Until now ive mainly been doing decals.

Is it just me or is the response time on tickets hit or miss? there are times where my support tickets get responded really fast and then there are times like now where im still waiting for a response. (going on 2 business days now)

I just submitted a new ticket with the same question lets see if it gets answered.

My MH721 has just started having this problem. It is now cutting with the cuts being jagged or sometimes it looks like its ripping the vinyl. Im using a clean cut blade and it shouldnt be having this problem. I just need the machine to last a few months longer so i can get a Graphtec. Any help on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

i adjusted the blade again. and checked my ground wire. seems to be cutting fine again. id hope a carbide tip wouldnt break off, its not cutting anything tough.

its not cutting through the backing though so the pressure and depth i didnt think would be a problem. its cutting at 60 for pressure and 4 for speed.
