Breaking Bad was that way for me.... Took me about 6 episodes before I was hooked.... Justified was also this way... I agree it takes a while for them to "unroll" the whole story line and get in you touch with the characters.

Dr12volt1338 replied to JennK's topic in USCutter Equipment Feedback or Suggestions
Well I had to google search what Sticky Flock was I had no idea.... But now I know.. If you use the search feature on the forum here it gives a few suggestions on how to set it up.. Looks like a little more blade exposed and running 2 passes...... -
.eps is a vector file you should be able to import and cut no problem.........
-
Then asked to speak to the manager or owner? I am going to do some research on the number it came in from....92466501 I'm wondering if it is just a fishing scam and is assuming or hoping you have a Yahoo account.... I got 3 pictures along with it.. The Camry, then a 2 door something or other with the blue and red design on the side then the Ford truck which was actually pretty cool looking....
-
It's not an actual text it is a text saying it is from Yahoo messenger...... I received the EXACT same message....
-
Opens and looks just fine in Flexi...... I would be a little concerned with how small the lines are on the design... I know my cutter would probably struggle with that a little and weeding will take a little finesse also

Luckily I don't have much going on today so I am going to play this out and see where it goes.... I didn't think about that as far as wanting me to wire her the overage.... I was thinking some new reverse credit card scam or something.... After we chatted on Yahoo last night I shut down my modem just in case they were trying to ping my address and get into my computer.... It's just odd to me that my Yahoo address has been "dead" for years and years I NEVER use it.. I haven't even logged into it in about 4 years.....
-
Thats what I feel. But I am really curious on how they would be scamming me??? I'm curious to pursue it and see if I can find the catch....

I googled funny toilet seat

I just did a google search and found a few of them........ I don't want to post any with copyright and all.....

How to determine an arc of a glass
Dr12volt1338 replied to oldmountaincrafts's topic in General Help
Jay this is the formula I was looking for.... When I was a Tin Knocker we had to use it every so often for the same reason described doing Duct transitions. I know there is a long formula..(One of those that looks like someone spilled alphabet soup on the paper.) that this must have an excel sheet setup that does it... GREAT FIND! -

Try a few of these.... I tried reading through them but can't focus my poor poor LIONS are on and it's not going good....... I know the wording is wrong but I think you may stumble on something there.... https://www.google.com/#hl=en&sclient=psy-ab&q=how+to+find+the+arc+of+a+cylinder&oq=how+to+find&gs_l=serp.1.0.35i39j0l3.82872.144098.0.149277.11.11.0.0.0.0.132.1148.3j8.11.0.les%3B..0.0...1c.1.nV-mKTA_Y-E&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&fp=e0ad5b0b13e28188&biw=1366&bih=667 -
How to determine an arc of a glass
Dr12volt1338 replied to oldmountaincrafts's topic in General Help
Do a google search on it... I know there is a formula you can use I just can't for the life of me remember what it is... -
Go to the Oracal site sometimes you can get a free folder with all the colors they offer... Over the years I have obtained a couple..
-
I would call Oracal and give them the RGB or CMYK and see what they have they can offer.... That is going to be the best.... As Alan said that color blue on your monitor maybe completely different then what it looks like on my or many others on here.... Even to send it to Oracal his eyes may see it different then what you are looking at... The numbers never lie....
-
Well chances are it is illegal for him to do that since I doubt he has the license for it but you can try www.brandsoftheworld.com ........

Pinch Roller for LPII - Incorrect part shown??
Dr12volt1338 replied to CarterMarkham's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Discussion
The rails might be the same but I would call and talk to someone there they would be able to tell you for sure what is going on... Then if it is still wrong it is on them and not you...(Although I have no idea why they would be wrong..) -
What logos are you talking about? The extra little swirly lines like in hand painted ones or are there actual graphics you are looking for? More specifics will help people point you in the right direction..... Also check the big auction site for vector pin stripe discs....

Pinch Roller for LPII - Incorrect part shown??
Dr12volt1338 replied to CarterMarkham's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Discussion
I would call UScutter tomorrow and ask them....... -
Are you getting any error messages about Bitmap's won't cut... Usually those discs have 2 versions of the files IE. JPEG and VECTOR (cuttable) or a PDF which in some cases is still cuttable. Also check the size it is importing them as....
-
Not to nit pick but for future reference you may get a really picky customer who will want to know why the "chevy" isn't centered over the bowtie.... But I do like it the fonts and all flow nice with it.
-
The Values are as follows as close as I can find.. . On a google search.... RGB: 7,54,248 CMYK: 86,74,0,0 Hex: #0736F8
