    Boat pinstripping

Anyone have a good source for boat stripes? I just destroyed a whole roll trying to cut (2) 2"x30' stripes.... I have found some online but I thought the price was very very high compared to what I can get a whole roll for.... Actually the price was ok but shipping was like $17.99 which put it way over the top.....

    Business Estimates

Thats what I liked about it..... Brought everything into perspective... makes pricing a sign made in your front room seem really simple....
  4. I ran across this and thought I would share.... Hopefully some will look at this before posting what they should charge. http://thebadwrap.com/blog/how-to-figure-your-true-square-foot-costs/

    Boat pinstripping

Yeah send me that please.. My local supplier won't do it..... As long as they can be real precise so I get a solid width that would be great.

    Newbie-Needing Advice

I haven't personally used this but hear good things about it.. In my limited experience I have really become fond of units with a swing arm.. They take more room to operate but I like being able to see exactly how my graphic is set on the garment....

Can anyone ID this cutter ?

From what I gather and have found it is either a Jingling 610 or Jingling 710. It appears the 710 was more common and very popular in the UK and England.... I would suggest trying one of the uscutter sc series drivers..... If it is indead a 710 unit... Which is 710mm cutting width then that is roughly a 30" unit so any of the SC units that are of that size I would start there..... I am sure one of the Chinese drivers will work I just was not able to locate an exact driver.I know people have had good luck with Copam drivers working... I believe the LiYU is a pretty generic driver also.... You will just have to play around until you find one that works properly....

I have looked at this a few times and I personally would HAVE to go back and get the "FOOD" to match the arch of "GREAT" It stands out in a negative way.

Do you give a warranty on your installation?

When I install Oracal I stand behind their warranty... I have been doing this for about 6 years or so and have never had an issue that wasn't caused by either the customer or using a cheap vinyl... I had some Purple I got off line and it faded within a year and a half so for her I just replaced it with some Oracal. If the vinyl is installed at the right temperature and properly the only failure that should arise would fall under a manufacturers defect.

    Another layered vinyl on tile

We had a horrible instance here..... And I am in no way trying to take from this story but ours burns my behind so bad on what the big brother knows and doesn't share..... Look up the recent story from the bank robbery in Ravenna Michigan and look at how the FBI had been chasing the subjects but yet didnt' warn our local law inforcement........ Its an on going deal but a lot of the stories from the news have "magically" disappeared..... I have been on this story since day one and have had countless BS charges against me since...... IT IS JUST SCARY!!!!! There is a whole nationwide following on what happened here.... Again I am in no way taking from the OP but wanted to voice my opinion on what is happening in our own back yards......

    bannet help

If I remember there is a setting in the cut menu about cutting "as in document" sounds like there may be something there that is causing the issues. I know when I used to use SB it would try and save vinyl waste by adjusting.

Is one way better than the other?

751 works much better its easier to work with and last longer. Installing on flat surfaces you may not notice a huge difference but with wrapping contours is when it plays a large part.

what program are you using? How are you setting up your registration marks? When you say it doesn't match up what do you mean? To tall? To narrow? different all together?

    heat press or screen printing?

I know guys who hang them and just run over them with a heat gun real quick.... your start up cost is more for screen printing but per unit price is cheaper.

    heat press or screen printing?

If you can get a screen press setup doing a large order is usually best with screen printing.... I have done a few larger orders of 50 shirts and pressed them and it took longer then what it should have... Material was kind of pricey per shirt but I feel that heat pressing looks better......

    how to price banners?

    Need Help Making this decent

I was just coming in to say the same thing!! I got it to where it would be feasible to cut but it would look very very nice printed.... Time and material wise it would be more cost effective also...

Is one way better than the other?

I prefer the top method... It's easier to work with if you do the shadow WITH backing... It gives you a little more room for error when layering and in my opinion it has a better over all look to it..... From a distance I think it reads better.
