I'm sorry now I understand. I didn't catch what you were trying to say.... I just created a quick file with a bitmap i downloaded added some text, saved it, deleted the bitmap exited Flexi and restarted it and opened the file and it all opened just fine.... What version of Flexi do you have? Did you install it on the same computer you lost everything on? Maybe try deleting and reinstalling Flexi.

Looks like you are having more of a directory issue to me.... I would start there make sure the file is actually in that location.

I have searched also.. I would like something that showcases new products and techniques... I have yet to find anything worth buying on a regular basis.

You know what you have into the job and what you have to make.... I know of places I can order some really cheap shirts but they fall apart after about 2 washes. Let him know you only use quality products. Maybe his price he paid before was from a huge supplier who has a bunch of teenagers working for $2.... I always try and let the customer think I believe the crap they are feeding me you never want to call them out... All you can do is quote the job and hope you can get it...... I get a lot of people who come to me with super low prices and I give them my price and explain that I only use quality materials and I have years of experience. I'm not a kid doing this from my parents basement and trying to learn. I get probably 85% of the bids I put out.....

I believe the SC is a rebranded LiYu cutter try one of those..... I am pretty sure I have read that on here try the search bar at the top.

Search the forum bud. There are 100's of topics on this.... You really need to find what you feel you need to make to cover your time and materials and go from there. The rate charges are different everywhere.

I am looking for a cheap or free program to lay out my property so I can set up my irrigation system... I measure it all out with a wheel and drew a very rough sketch but want it layed out on paper to scale. I would like to be able print a grid with each square representing "X" amount of feet. I have a few out buildings and all that need to be incorporated. I tried using my FlexiSign but can't find a way to easily run a line with the measurement short of drawing a line and punching in the text.... I found a trial version of Smart Draw but I can't get the text for the measurements large enough to actually read them... Anyone have any experience with anything like this???

I copied all my fonts from signblazer but they all show an SBE name....... Mark is a font genius and I have font that in my "free" "bored" time I just type stuff in flexi and scroll fonts..... I know it only shows what I have but it helps a lot in finding fonts when I know I have seen something close

Youtube videos how to trace and vectorize with illustrator.... I am not real familiar with that software so I can't walk you through the steps. Even in doing this you are going to want to find those fonts to recreate that part of it. The tree will be a good simple trace but it is very rarely efficient to trace text.

If you look into getting a contract to do stuff like this you will see most of them do not require a fee up front... You have to be able to guarantee so much in sales each year.... (I believe Ford was $300,000) You also have to give X amount from the sales of their product to them.... I think it was posted here somewhere that I read that even... I also looked at doing stuff here for the teams in Detroit because I get so many requests every week to do them but it was very unpractical for me at this point...

What format do you have the file in? If it is cut ready SignBlazer should allow you to cut each color individually as long as you don't have the send all at once selected...( I forget the exact term but it's something like that.) I guess the main point is what format do you have it in and if you need to either vectorize it or re create it or not.

When I was setting up my VE cutter the driver wasn't included either so I downloaded it and put it in the driver folder within the SAi folder itself on my hard drive..... The folder is actually labeled output drivers.

I tried a few of those but ended up just messing with Smart Draw all night and learning enough of that to get by. I am sure there are better programs but for what I was doing I learned enough to get the job done.... THANKS
