It's pretty straight forward cut the letters, weed apply, tape mask, peel and place! I'm not really sure what your trying to do?? are the letters already cut out? BTW I really like signblazer what are you comparing it to?

Oh, Yeah, soo cool thanks fo he healp!

Convert your lettering to curves then rotate as required

When I first ran SB I was able to modify the borders to get different styles, now it looks like I just get a square. Did I gum something up or is my mind drifting into senility??

where can i get 3m Vinyl in very specific pantone colors
lueman replied to splash0321's topic in Vinyl
Offer to do both trucks and give the second at 20% off. It's the only way. vinyl fades you'll never match the colors, I bet they aren't even the same as when new! -
Sorry if I posted late, but yeah "new" ram chips are often a problem. Next time you reboot your PC go into the bios and see how much memory it's reporting - if it's a lot less than what you put in - have the PC checked by the tech that installed the ram chips - it may be ok - since most pc's share some memory with the video controller or it could be the chips. Also since you recently installed a bigger hard-drive have the tech check the temperature inside your machine your CPU may be working a lot harder now so heat may be a factor. An extra fan is always a good thing and the cost of electricity is minimal.

The G-PEN F610 gives you more area to work with, I'm sur the watcom is a solid product, but as a n artist you need as much room as possible and all those buttons can be a godsend once you've programmed them with exactly what you want/need. Good luck

you do great work, Have you thought of buying a digitizing tablet? It's like a mouse but you use a pen and draw on a tablet. you can set it up so that the computer screen is your canvas. It's much easyer than scan&vectorize and the image will already be plotter ready!

I know It's a little late to post this, but it sounds like the software isn't sending a "pen up" instruction at end of design. Hope this helps someone one the future.

I'm assuming your computer is more than a couple years old. Check to see if you have at least 1meg for an XP and at least 2 meg in vista. Also as a computer sits it collects dust, this retains heat, which can cause quircky memory problems. Other than Not Having enough memory or finiky chips - software drivers these days don't usually cause memory errors.

TRY THIS IT WORKED FOR ME: Align the rollers on the vinyl edges. Run the vinyl forward with blade up off vinyl. after you get 3 feet of vinyl, align the rollers on the edges again, also straighten your vinyl roll make sure it's straight, now finally back the vinyl back out. your roll should now be straight and rolling evenly.

In the cutter screen click on copies see if that helps if you need more control copy& paste then select all the stencils yo want to cut. You might want to set the workspace to the maximum width for the vinyl your using for example for me a 15" vinyl has a 13 1/2" width.

Ok what IS the secret to cutting small letters 1/2" x 1/2"
lueman replied to routesmith's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Discussion
I have the LP24 It cuts Oracal 651 with very small letters - set my speed to 50 and my press around 130. Weeding is a pain with small letters, but everything was cut clean, Also my offset was set to 15 -
MH-1351 cuts small image, won't cut large image

Sorry I came to this post so late. A USB port is just a serial port on steroids. Like most serial ports you can run into buffer overflow problems when the communications port outstrips the printer's internal buffer. try slowing down the baud rate to 9600, turn on hardware handshaking, and check your bit, stop and parity settings, mine are (8,1,n). Also make sure you have the most updated driver, sometimes the programmer can compensate for the printer's memory by storing the data in a temporary buffer. Hope this helps. -
Help on art for transfers PLEASE!

I tryed your file, the export is pretty straight forward: select all from your edit toolbar then click on export and save as .eps. I'm not sure why your worried about the white background?? the material is chosen by the machine opperator,, it can be any color you want even white. if you are reffering to a digital print then again the color is chosen by the opperator and the background is again ignored. you can emil me if I can be of any help: mailto:caribbean57@embrqmail.com -
Sounds like you haven't vectorized the image, try that first . If it's a size problem select everything you want resized then pull out the hadles checking you size o the bottom status bar.

I don't work for tech support, but I've been in IT for more than 30 years. It sounds like a couple of things could be happening: 1. since you installed a serial card and everything looks fine now - it could be you had an outdated driver 2. your signblazer priority is set too loo- since the cutter uses a serial port everything is sent as a 'batch' job to the SP that's why you can't cancle in the middle of a job (you can but the cutter ignores the request) 3. your hardware settings must match mine are set to: baud 9600, 8-1-n, hardware handshaking. 4 keep your running processes down! (Don't run 10-n chats) Good luck
