Try this, type what ever word or letter you want,Then select it and click on text on the tool bar then select hollow. You can change the width and size of the outline aswell. Is this what your after.

I had a go at this,Select whatever image you need and open up in paint. Save as jpeg. Import this jpeg image in to artcut. Select the image then image trace from the file menu. Go through the auto select options until it stops. Highlite the image, put your mouse on the red + and drag the image to one side. Click on the outline image which should be there, make sure it is the only one selected then send to cutter.

I click on graph then rectangle and use this as my marks to line up items. You need to change the colour of them to match the item your cutting. If your using black and white as layers make the rectangle black for one layer and white for the other. Easier to do than explain. Hope this helps if not get back and I will try and explain better.

Its easier than you think took me a while to sort it out though Just use 2 colours when entering text then when you go to cut, pick the colour you want cut. Don't forget your registration marks. I'm starting to like artcut

Do you mean the trial of windows.If so, just register windows.

Hi I'm from the UK.I have a very similar cutter as well but under a different name.

Have you tried loading the driver with the usb cable connected.

Guess its a scissors job then.

I use the artcut 2009 not the pro though,I find it ok just need to be patient with it. Still getting used to it, only had it a week and still learning.

Hi I notice some machines will cut of the vinyl after the initial cut,it would cut through the backing paper so it would fall into a basket etc.does anyone know how to do this please. ??? ??? sorted it out.I set the machine to use dmpl ignored the settings on the fonts and used a trial run on one letter to get it right.Run a test run and hey presto. Many many thanks for all your help.

I havent got that 1 in the set up I have roland camm listed with different numbers. Thanks

The only problem being which one is it.The machine has Model MT871 and 0469 ROHS on the side.Its being run at the moment with roland CAMM-1 1000 Many thanks for your help.
