Copam help-start and end points not meeting

Harm, Thanks for the suggestion. Was it the screw on the actual motor itself or the screw on the roller? Howard, I checked the cutting size like you mentioned, made some adjustments, tried a couple of cuts, but it's still not connecting. I noticed that it doesn't work right on test cuts either so I'm thinking that it isn't a disconnect between the software and the program. :-

Copam help-start and end points not meeting

Thank you to everyone who has responded. I'm still having this problem I've searched through the forums and tried multiple things but it's still happening. Any other suggestions? What do I need to do to receive tech support if I can't resolve the issue?

Copam help-start and end points not meeting

Sorry it took me so long to respond. My sister got married yesterday and this past week has been crazy! Ok, so I've pretty much figured out the tracking issue, and Edge you're right. It's still happening, although it's slightly better. It's maybe off like 1/16th of an inch? Definitely enough to make the cut not look very clean and makes weeding a lot harder. I hope you can see this picture ok.

I'm using Sign Blazer. I went in and changed the offset in the program (it was set to 0) but same problem. I'm really thinking it's a tracking issue. I have been playing around with the pinch rollers and placement of the support roller but it's still not tracking properly. At this point, I seriously think it's user error but I don't know how to get it setup right.

Copam help-start and end points not meeting

I'm thinking that it is a problem with either the pinch rollers or the grit rollers. I gave the vinyl a tug after it was locked it like you suggested and it held. But when I load the vinyl and then hold the down the arrow key the edge of the vinyl moves left. The vinyl isn't tracking right. Hopefully that makes sense. I did try to tighten the screws on the pinch rollers but they seem to be tightened as much as they can go. I also made sure there was enough slack. Do you think it's a problem with placement? I have no idea where to go from here!
  6. Ok, so I really need help. My Copam is not cutting perfect circles (or anything else), the start and end points aren't meeting. I've tried several different files and changed the blade and I'm still having the same problem. I really need to use my cutter because I have a couple of pending jobs, but it's not working right! Any advice?
  7. I downloaded the color palette directly from Oracals website- http://www.oracal.com/knowledge/oracolor.asp and then made a color sheet directly from that with the colors I wanted to offer. Hope that helps!

    Hi!

Hi everyone! I'm Sunny from Utah. I'm completely new to vinyl and just got setup with my new Copam CP-2500 and..I love it! We hardly had any problems getting it setup and cutting. I am a graphic designer and have wanted to get into doing vinyl for a while now. I've really enjoyed reading all the posts in the forum and am looking forward to getting to "know" everyone.

    Tracking number

Hi I'm just wondering if there is some type of tracking number for items that are dropped shipped? I placed an order (AB-7207) on the 6th and got everything else over a week ago but have yet to receive a roll of vinyl (of course the one that I really need) that was marked as dropped shipped. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
