we actually stopped using the desktop because it started to only work with our laptop. i just changed the usb cord and it worked for now. We have had to change usb cords in the past a few times. Is it possible for a usb cord to stop functioning correctly? It is still working OCCASIONALLY with this other cord. It seems like I need to say a prayer over it while the data output is being sent to the cutter and pray and pray it doesnt freeze halfway through the cut. what could have been done in 4 hours yesterday took from sun up to sun down yesterday

I am trying to cut and the program will not finish sending the output before the the cut finishes. The program freezes and my cutter freezes and I have to restart both. I thought it was a RAM problem with my laptop so I closed all programs. Restarted the computer but still same thing. This problem ahs been happening for awhile but is getting worse. I have a copam. I recently sent it in to get the motherboard changed but as soon as it came back it started making a humming noise everytime it is on AND I noticed the "measure" screen never pops up anymore every time I turn on my machine. I figured they changed a setting when repairing the motherboard but now I am not so sure. I am really not sure if this is a sign blazer issue or a Copam issue so I will list this problem in both. Also the warranty just expired on my cutter. But we have not had the $150 to send the cutter back to get fixed since we just sent it in the get fixed a little while ago too. I also submitted a ticket before and someone told me to call them and they would walk me through fixing it but I just have not had time to call and walk through anything during the hours your business is open so if someone could walk me through this issue on the board I would really appreciate it. I have searched the board everywhere for a solution but all I can find is people telling others to submit a ticket. Thanks for the help.

Does anyone know how much the copam cp-4500 weighs? We need to send it back and we are trying to get an estimate on the cost. We are just looking to send the top half back not the stand. We are located in southern california and are planning on shipping it UPS if anyone has mailed it back before. Thanks.

Hello We were cutting a decal right now on our copam cp-4500 and midway in the cut the cutter stopped restarted and asked to measure. We measured it and it restarts itself before completing the measure. My husband said something smells burnt. Any insight on the issue would be appreciated. Also if we do send it in what do you think would be the wait time to get it back? Thank You

this is not the easiest thing to do on a shirt with thermoflex from experience. The thermo flex shrinks slightly. I didnt attempt this but my husband did and it was a pain in the behind for him. I think I saw someone actually layer vinyl instead of cutting a separate "outline" to border the text. It looked like thermoflex on top of thermoflex to create an outline.

yes mirror and check spelling...lol..personal experience Also I like to press everything twice after I peel the transfer tape I like to press again with the teflon sheet to make sure its really set into the fabrics.

it doesnt lock at all anymore. I think the last thing we pressed before having this problem was a hoodie and I dont think my hubby changed the pressure for this. I will go play with the knob and tell you if anything changes.
