I find this weird because I have been having a problem cutting with FlexiSign Pro. SignBlazer and SignCut have no problems cutting. However I changed ports and all that and still had a problem with the cutter stopping halfway threw a cut. After reading these posts I wiped down my cutter with dryer sheets and have made 4 successful cuts. Little strange huh. As I said in another post. Makes me wonder if the communication from Flexi is sensitive compared to SignBlazer and SignCut. And I am using USB without a key-spanner. I put dryer sheets in all my rolls of vinyl now and have a few hanging around near the cutter until I can buy some static spray. As winter is coming and static will increase in the air. So I am hoping that is was my whole problem and nothing else. Thank you guys.

Well here is an update. I am now believing it is a STATIC problem. I have my stand grounded but that doesnt seem to matter. I read another post saying that people where having the same issues with static. I tried cutting after port change and all that and it did the same thing as before. Then I wiped the cutter down with dryer sheets and I just cut 4 decals without problems. But it is still kinda weird that SignBlazer and SignCut Pro dont have an issue cutting but Flexi does. I am wondering if Flexi's communication is a little more sensitive then the other programs. Find that odd. Anyone have insight on this?

No I have not contacted them. I was going to if I couldn't get this working correctly. Just seen so many posts on here and other forums figured someone has to have the answer. So if I do not get it working then I will contact them.

I checked out that link. Posted there before. I re-read his post and checked the device manager and it was set to NONE for the flow control and the program is set to HARDWARE. I have not been able to retest this because of the kids are sleeping in the same room at the moment so I will have to first thing in the morning. Have a few hundred decals I need to get cut before Tuesday. Hopefully it works because I like the look and feel of FlexiSign Pro havnt really been able to use it yet. Been playing with it and seem easy compared to some of the others programs out there. Runs smoother too. Except for the cutting anyways. So hopefully this fixes the problem Thank You

Been searching around for some answers to my problem aswell and seems to be a load with the SC Series Cutters and Flexi. Mine just stop in the middle of a cut. I have changes setting as others have described and all and it still does the same thing. I seen someone mention about memory issues with the cutter not having enough. But I dont really think that is a problem. I have used signcut for a year and have been using SignBlazer for a while now and no issues with either one of them. I recently got FlexiSign 10 and it wont cut. I can cut 20+ decals in other software and it wont cut 1 small decal without freezing half way threw it. I am using USB, static lines, and all. changed the packet size to 1000 curve quality to medium. Cuts further cut still stop when cutting. Like I said I have been searching and reading tons of posts about the problems and there doesn't seem to be a solution that I have seen. But I do believe it is with Flexi as that is the only problem everyone seems to be having. I know people mentioned that bitrate issues not matching causeing poblems aswell. Its almost like the cutter stops communicating with the computer or flexi I should say. Has anyone made any progress with the problems that everyone has been having? Using Flexi and the SC Series cutters. Anyone know of a fix I over looked?

Don't really need any features. Like I said I use Inkscape and Corel for everything. I only need a program to cut with. I do my mirroring and everything from Inkscape and Corel. I havnt really had problems with the 64 bit OS. Its only certain files I add to SignCut that freeze and crash. So I usually have to edit them til I get them to work. But otherwise no other problems with the 64bit system.

I only use Corel X3 and Inkscape for all vinyls. and was using SignCut for just the cutting. Maybe Flexi is the solution. For now. Im just gonna use inkscape. and i guess save to import into Signblazer and work from there. Illl just add all my images to one file and do one cut from there so I dont waste a load of time. I think I will definitely check out Flexu though. Like said herd a load of good stuff about it.

I have herd a load of good stuff about flexi. Was thinking about picking it up when i had the extra cash. I will have to look around and see what prices I can get it for. Do you know if they have a trail aswell?

I have a USCutter SC 34" cutter with laser point.

Are you talking about downloading SignCut again to get the free trial. and then paying monthly. Because that may work. SignGo has a month free trail but its the same problem as Signblazer. none of my files are importable without me haveing to convert them. Also I am using a USBnot a serial cable. Windows 7 64bit. I will try to download the trial and use that and see what happens. Along with reinstall new drivers. then I guess pay. Are there any cut software programs out there that you buy and don't pay a subscription fee monthly, quarterly, yearly and so on. I would rather buy a program and be done with it. one less thing to worry about. Know what I mean. Thanks for all the replies. Its greatly appreciated.

I use inkscape but the problem with InkCut is its for linux. i'm on windows. Kinda in a pinch is what the problem is. Dont really like SignBlazer. Just not my cup of tea. Use to signcut. All the files types I usually use wont transfer to SignBlazer. Otherwise I may play with it for a while. However i have 43 order sitting in front of me and currently have no way to cut them. I really think we need another free alternative. Even if it is simple and able to read most file types. I have coral draw x3 and inkscape even the plug ins people want you to pay for them. I dont have the cash right now as i invested all of it in supplies. But supplies dont matter if I can not cut the designs I need to cut. Sign Blazer just takes to much time at the current moment. This is the whole problem. I went to school for software development. If I ever get free time I think I need to make a cut program for people that doesnt cost hundred to thousands. Like $10 bucks or something for a donation. I dont know just me thinking out loud I guess. Any ideas.

I recently got approved to sell in Amazons restricted categories and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on changing colors for variations. What I am doing is using 13 variations to color. I use inkscape, corel draw X3. What I need to do is speed up the process of modifying my images. Taking one image and changing it from black to blue, to orange and so on in the 13 colors that I have and then export or create an jpeg image. What I have been doing is opening inkscape and coping one image 13 times and then picking the color that I need to for the variation. Kind of a slow process. Any one have any ideas? I have way to many files to do this one by one.

I will look at the nodes. I have cut the same vector over and over again using Signcut and with SignBlazer is where I have the issue. I mean its not bad but annoys me because I have to have them perfect for the customer. I will look into SCALPro. Never tried it. I have been importing vectors from Corel and I will try making something in SB and see if it does the same thing. Thank you.

Hello, I normally use SignCut Pro but subscription is running out and would like to start using SignBlazer. I have both installed and both do cut however there is a difference in the cutting. Sign Cut cuts all my lines and everything smooth as can be and in SignBlazer cuts all my straight lines wavy. It not real bad but they are not perfect cuts. Has anyone experienced this before? Also I am using version 6.0.21. Is this the latest version available from USCutter? Or is there an update or a new download for the software. I do like the layout and I can change things and draw right in SB and then cut from the same program. With SignCut Pro it pretty much cut only. and also crashes alot. Which is one reason I do not wish to pay for the subscription again. Maybe if it didn't crash I would. But ever since I have used SignCut it has done this and it doesn't seem to matter what computer I use it on. Thank you, Ammastor

I was curious if anyone has ever set up shop outside there house or infront of there shop. I have a laod of traffic past my house.most is oilfield people. Do u think it would be worth setting up outside like a yard sale. Has anyone done it and how dis it turn out?

I am guessing no one has. All I was curious.about.was how urs turned out. I know every area is different with people and surroundings. Just arent sure if it would be a waste of a saturday or not. I guess I could just try it and see.

Hello, iv been having a load of.requests for vinyl sun visors. What I want to do is premake the most popular designs that I have been getting requests for.to fit almost any car. My problem is. I do not know how big I should make then not where to place the images. So I need to know how I can make a universal type of visor that will work on most vehicles. Thanks for the ideas xpaperman. You are right thereare A lines on all windshields. Even the manufactures have to follow the guidelines with there. Im in PA and the A lines are the law. Nothing below them but anything above them. Other states I am not sure of but I know that is the way it is in PA.

Hello, I had a quick question. I sell on Amazon. Everyonce and a while I get emailsfrom other sellers saying remove my items or else. Now some of the.images I have posted are boughten in packs and such. So I would assume that they are just angry that I have the same image with a lower price then they do. Does anyone know what a copyright acually covers? And does someone have to file papework to get something copyrighted? Another thing is use the sell one like button on amazon sometimes aswell. So my listings are very similar to another shops items. I.am guessing these arethe people who.are complaining? Any thoughts, i dont want to step on peoples toes.

You all shed some.light on my tboughts. I did not know that knce its made it is stated to be copywritten. This is good to know. The ones who are emailing me are other sellers not Amazon themselves. And some of the ones they email about I know for. A fact are general handout items that I have and prolly everyone else has and uses. I think some people are angry because I have what they have. I did read however some where dont remeber where but it was a law site.that direct images can not be used but if included in anotheris fine. Example would be a.dog peeing on a ford or dodge emblem. Wish this would work for me. I have had 2 tablets and both broke on me and she wont let me buy another. Says it has to be a business expense. But right now its not in the budget, So im stuck with my phone which works well for me. How is that Square reader anyways. Does that deposit directly in a bank account or another way. i would love to have them direct deposit directly in my account per transaction. Or in a way like that anyways. They pretty good?

Don not know if this helps or not but I use it for simple calculations. But I made a simple Excel Calculator that calculates price per linear foot, sq inch, and so on. Also gives you a price for single and multi color decals. Also gives you total sq inch and liner foot per roll. just need to know how much you paid for a roll of vinyl, length of roll, and width of roll and it calculates everything for you. Also tell you how much it costs for a decal to make. Simple and easy to use. If you are interested in it. Msg me and I will send it to you.

I have experienced this with a few cc companies. Some will even tell you that you need to fill out paper work to close your account but never send you the paper work to close the account. And continue to charge you monthly for there service even though you dont use it anymore. Then there was another company that tried charging me almost $500 to close the account because of some hidden agreement that I got suckered into. I went simple. Got a Paypal card reader and I stick with that. No fees except for transaction fee per transaction however they do not offer a in-house reader. Only a mobile one as far as I am aware. But if you sign up you can process cards over the phone, email, or in-house threw your computer. I do believe. Have not tried there service besides there mobile card reader. Which is great for craft fairs, flea markets, and trade shows.
