Anyone gotten SignBlazer to work with a refine on Windows 7 64 bit? I switched to a new computer and I seem to be having trouble getting it to communicate via Serial port to the refine. I've checked all the usual suspects and still nothing.

Finally worked it out with Levi, seems a setting on the plotter got scrambled. We had to change it then change it back before it all started working. Damnedest thing neither of us had seen anything like it before.

Looks like my daughter is heading over to ETSU for her last two years. Anyone got a Bucky I can make for her?

Let's talk.

I don't think a image can be slanderous or libel that usually involves spoken or written word. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defamation

50mA x 100 led's = 5000mA 5000mA = 5A 5 Amps is not much to real with, a lot of the solar stuff will handle that.
-
Real or vinyl? I assume vinyl since this is a vinyl forum, if real tell them you can do it in a couple of years and start practicing with the hairy brush now!

LED's are between 20 mA and 50 mA if I remember right. Not as much draw as a bulb.

I'm betting the Easyweed extra which is made for nylon will do better.I doubt the vinyl would be flexible enough to stay on for long. I'd go heat press.

Need pricing help on 24" to 48" tall letters in Paint Mask
Paradox replied to khpelham's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
At 42" that's a projector and brush job if I've ever seen one. You could also also use some wicked airbrush paint from Createx and use a mini detail gun from harbor freight with some loose shields to fill that in. To finish it off you could stripe it with a brush. -
Error in the Keyboard interface?
-
Uhhh if it's cutting twice there may be two paths. I'm using inkscape without that issue all the time. Might have to adjust the nut behind the keyboard to get the computer to work right sometimes. Make sure the "black lines" are not the fill area between two paths, otherwise it would cut down the middle of the path no matter the thickness of the line.

DO NOT LET THE TECH HAVE REMOTE ACCESS TO YOU COMPUTER!

Shhhhh.... he was put in the witless protection program. -
Cool, airbrush the bleach before you put the heat press on. to avoid the pooling. Of course the vinyl will pool like a mother.

Now wait, let's all cut him some slack. His friend might work at the FBI...... He might sweep the floor. -
Those look good, how'd you get a good seal on the plywood?

Nice, what font is that I like it.

Now that is fricking funny, more like the blind leading the blind. -
Yup they will slap any label they want to on them. Manufacturers fudge the ratings on them.

Little known fact I uncovered during my research. The Kobalt is a house brand made by Husky so they are actually the same compressor. I just picked up the Husky 3.2 singe stage just because it was a little cheaper and they had a complete one in stock.

Been looking around, thought someone posted some bamboo images a while back but i can't find them. Anyone got anything like some various bamboo sticks with leaves.
-
Depends on use, most stencils that are purchased are made with lazer engravers on materials to thick for vinyl cutters.
-
Anyone ever seen any small octagonal blanks and posts? I'm looking for something about like the security signs people put in their yards.

The chance for issues is high. We don't usually use the same materials as the manufacturers so don't expect the same use. As the vinyl shrinks back it will break and delaminate the clear. The solvents may react with the vinyl as well. You'd have to do a light tack coat then do the thicker coats. Then you'd really not want that much build with the paint as that can cause problems as well. You'd have to block sand then cut and buff to get it level. When I do bikes I always paint the graphics as you get better quality, but I'm set up for full on custom jobs with airbrush work and all. Keep the vinyl on top of the paint.
