wait a sec... lemme get my sunglasses on.... yeah man! jeep graphics are nice! now I'm going to sue you for burning my corneas - everywhere I look I see a big circle with "jays place" in it
-
Used: 2 saw horses, 2, 2x4 studs, 1 old lamp, 1 storm door full glass insert only thing I had to get was the door insert which I got down at the habitat for humanity for $1 - they are all tempered glass so you can put some weight on them or bare down this table provides a nice cutting surface that wont wear out your blades and with a lamp underneath, it makes seeing through our work very easy. total cost if you bought everything new at lowes or home depot is: under $75

it's for the heavy duty lettering, hehe

WARNING TO EVERYONE!!!!
rdusigns replied to laras4labs's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
i dont see how they can sue you - you're not the one displaying it on your car maybe we should all put a disclaimer on our work orders when logo work comes up that the customer has to sign like "I hereby authorize blah blah, I am responsible blah blah..." -

I can't imagine my Dad being gone. He is 78, works with me almost everyday. If I leave him at home he goes down hill as my Mom just yammers at him all day but if I work him like a rented mule he tends to stay healthy. I am very sorry for your loss - I know you miss him very much or you would not have posted that. I am sure he just wanted you to be happy and healthy! -
nice graphic there in the corner bro!

here is an example: this is white vinyl on the blue backer, the ruler is under the backer with flash on camera and what it looks like to the naked eye (no camera flash)

thanks rat, if you have a habitat store near you I'd suggest you givem a try - you could even use a sliding glass door panel, it's tempered glass as well. Plexiglass and lexan wouldnt work very well as your knife would cut into it and get stuck + wear out really fast. the light underneath really helps in make up and cutting a lot!

having trouble with this, trying to make this : how do I cut the little black outline and then the white fill?
-
yes it's a storm door insert which has a aluminum frame which does protect the edges as far as strength, I could stand on this glass and I weigh about 185lbs. yes, I do plane on building a more comprehensive frame as well as incorporating a 4' fluorescent light underneath ....but it works for now

its a cutting / makeup table - razor does not harm glass and does not get dull (as fast)

when I bought it, it was red body and graphics, yellow shocks, red seat I liked a more stealthy look thus: the Polaris TB250 "Stealth" hehe
