I am somewhat new to this. I am trying to learn how to use Inkscape to vector some images. I have some success, but unfortunately not enough. I have two images I need to get vectored so that I can make a veteran a sign for this retirement. Can anyone please help me get these vectorized? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you - Chris

My question is pretty much to the point. I am sure it may seem pretty basic or even stupid to some, but I am preplexed (since I am just starting). When you do a multi-color image, I understand that you have to cut the various colors out seperately on the appropriate colored vinyl. But how do you seperate the color sections on the image is my question while in the program? I am using Inkscape. Do I use the "ungroup" tool? And do I save the various color sections individually then send them to be cut out? Thanks for everyones help.
