Thank you for replying. This morning I reinstalled software, checked the settings on the com port, changed flow control to hardware setting and was able to start cutting. Back in business!!

Can anyone help? I moved my business and has been about a week since I have had internet connection. Cutting vinyl is my hobby/second business. Using Flexi Starter. Anyway, I cut several items and then all of a sudden couldn't cut anymore. The software shows that it is going through the motions of cutting but nothing is happening on the PCut CR1200. I can cut a test sq. from the machine but not from Flexi. Does the manufacuter of the software have something built in that would shut it down if I was not hooked up to the internet? I am now connected to internet. Thanks, Beaches

Bought a slightly used machine but I have it running and am enjoying learning all this stuff. I have a USB to USB connection on my laptop (no 9 pin serial connection on my laptop). Software is Flexi Starter. The problems I am having is that I can cut a few times, go back to cut something else and it won't cut. Production manager says it is cutting but nothing is going on on the cutter. I have to delete cutter setup, add setup, go out of Flexi, cut cutter off and back on and then I can get it to cut. Also on a long cut, maybe a job of a yard or more it will stop and the cutter says "waiting" and I get a "write port error" showing in production manager. Does all of this have to do with my connection cable? I appreciate all the help you can give me. Thanks, Lynette
