Any where I can but a yard each of reflective silver and red? I'd prefer 3M.

I'm pretty sure I just uninstalled the downloaded version, deleted the program folder left behind, restarted the puter, and installed the disc version that came with my cutter to get rid of the counter. Then I learned from one of the sticky posts you could do the registration thing and get rid of one or two of the start up popups. The patch just stopped the program from creating all those extra files when it saw images.

I think it looks good. I also like cutme's suggestion for using the holographic letters on front. What's up with us Ford guys wearing bow ties all of a sudden? I just bought a 50th anniversary Z06.

If you drive a subaru STI, I apologize.....

No he was giving me a point by to pass. We were running HPDE not racing. Passing point bys are required in some groups and a courtesy in others. -
You did that in 4 hours you are the man! I did my 99 some years back and it took me more like 12 hours to hand cut and apply a complete stripe job. I did taper my stripes and had some compound curves to deal with as well as wrapping the spoiler with the stripes though. Damn detailer put black wax on my gold stripes and ruined them. I spent another 8 hours removing them and never put them back.

I like the creative sticker and nice work. Not really slamming anyone's choice of vehicle but just showing a well driven Mustang CAN be a force on the track. This is a video of me chasing a STI in my 250 RWH Mustang. At the end of the session he followed me into the pits to ask what all I had done to my car. He said his STI was pumping 400 HP to all 4. He would smoke me down the straight and I'd catch him in the twisties. After he let me by I got far enough ahead in the back that he could no longer catch me on the straight. -
I'm surprised the cameo didn't come with tinted windows. Ahh yes, V8 Monzas. Never seen a wagon but loved the IMSA versions. http://www.v8monza.com/album/monza-imsa.htm

That's pretty cool. I might build myself one. sue me Actually I buy packs of those disposable snap blade utility knives from the dollar store. They come with two different sizes and the blades retract for safety. The large ones are good for cutting the vinyl off and the small ones are great for weeding.

I've heard 3M is some of the best. I tried some GMI that didn't hold up well at all.

Sorry, from reading some of the new posts I assumed they took that one down too. I filled out the form at that link and never got a reply but I did tell the truth and put none in the business name since I am not in the sign business. Good Luck!

You can try pulling the hard drive from the dead one and install it in the working computer. Do you know what died? Is it HD, power supply, ?

I think he means in the setup drop down in signblazer. Load the drawing pen in your cutter with a sheet of paper under it, Open SB and draw a small circle or square, go to the cut screen, click on setup, click on the port window at top of the setup screen. It will have a list of ports to choose from. Try one at the time and click on cut until it draws the shape. Sorry, I know you asked for a Vista user but these ideas will be better than nothing till one wonders by.

Nice work on the car numbers. I did mine but nobody else's. BTW SM stands for street modified on my car. (autocross class) Not to hijack but I did a track day (time trial/PDX) this past weekend. Lots of Mee-Otters were there too. Went to a track named Roebling Road, just this side of Savannah. Just ran advanced PDX on Saturday. That looks a lot better than the first! That frosted BGS stuff ain't worth the paper roll they put it on. I'm surprised you got the first one as nice as you did.

Nice job! That sample 3M stuff I got is awesome. I don't know how the cast compares but the wrap stuff seems to let air bubbles come out through the surface without having to move them to the edge. Dunno if that's what actually happens but it seems that way.
-
Just used some of the super-de-duper 9yr cast sample on my new notebook and it got hundreds of little air pockets in it. It was a thin line about 3/8" wide in a double s design. Should not have many if any air pockets.

Little Red Buttons ???????????
sandman replied to Misti J's topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Support Requests
Set your work space to be 24" in the program. I use SBE but I assume you can do this with all sign software. Don't use the silver discs on the material rollers. This will let you start closer to the right button as you look at the front of the machine. If you are using 15" vinyl pay attention to the rulers in the program or set the workspace to 15". -
This one was $360 w/taxes and shipping from Walmart online. They have a 8.9 version with the same specs for less but they were out of stock on that model with the 6 cell battery. My daughter has the 8.9 with the 3 cell battery and it lasts about 2 hours. This one runs about 6 hours on a charge.
-
This has a limit of 2 per request and they send you an email saying they will call to confirm the order. I probably won't get that call since I filled in the business as none.
-
That is cool as all gettout. NICE WORK! At 200 mph I bet it could get out of range of the controller before you could say "don't do it".
-
So you wrapped the sides of that awesome black paint job with white? I wonder if I could wrap my black car with the clear?
-
Select your letters and make sure their size doesn't exceed the width or length of your vinyl also.
-
If you go ahead and fill in the registration info popup and submit it as stated in the sticky above it will go away. Don't have to put any real or true info in it, just any text. That means when you start the program you just have to click on "trial mode" and "OK" to get it going.
