Very Nice Hoot Hoot

My R-1900 uses pigment ink.......as for my avery inkjet vinyl I get from Fellers....... I get 36" x 40 ft and cut it cross ways....13" x 36" and its a good size for Decals,Tags,and alot of sign applactions.... I frogjuice with 3 coats, and sometimes overlay with clear uv vinyl......been useing a year now.......no proplems

I have a MH-721 and Its been a Great Cutter...........but I use Flexi I don't care for sign blazer or whatever comes with it........and for the price, If you want to make signs get Flexi worth the extra money..........

Take white vinyl........... and paint it with Krylon paint.........any color and design you like.......... there are many things you can do with it.......Blended Colors, Sunsets,Marble, woodgrain......(use a graining tool) zebra, and on and on.......

I have a MH-721 and like Banner John.......I can't make it cut like that......I don't know what to tell you.......Never seen a cutter cut like that......I have two plotters (cutters) and alot of cut time.......but can't belive 3 in a row could be bad.....maybe its windows 7 but then you said it was not hooked to computer so ummmm don't know..........

I use a Epson R-1900.......It works great on vinyl....KolorChrome 2 Ink, its a pigment ink.....prints 13" wide x44" long and you can always tile if needed....also they have the 3800 (beacon Graphics) I use avery Inkjet matte vinyl and after out gasing.......I use 3 coats of Frog Spit.......(Frogjuice in a spray can) and its works great been useing about 3 yrs....(Far-from Normal.com) So if ya want to get your feet wet in Digital Print....... start here with a epson R-1900 about $1000 dollars will get you started with a product that you will be proud of......and you can hand cut with a frisket knife very fast.....if you don't have a contour cutter.....

I use a Epson R-1900 Pigment ink Kolor Krome 2. It works very good......I print on AVERY Inkjet film from FELLERS.....It will print 13" x 44" I print let it outgas, and then FROG JUICE it.............3 light coats and a final wet coat let it dry and use it have had very good work with it and its only a 1000 dollars........which is cheap to get into the digital print bussiness........I use it alot .... Ink is not bad about 17.00 per cartrige (change as you need) and it comes with a full set...(Not Demo carts) and with UV Overlay or Frog juice.......prints will last 4-5 years.......and I see alot of the big printers fade just as soon or sooner........... Billboards......Fade in a year here in Florida.....so when I get 4-5 years here in Fla. Its good.........

Im very new to the industry as well but I learnt REAL QUICK that using cheap vinyl is like trying to learn how to cook with really crappy pans. You will get frustrated and ticked off using sub standard products. Buy the stuff you will be comfortable sending out to customers and learn on that, if you blow 30 feet of good quality vinyl its still only like 30 bucks and thats alot cheaper than all the BS you will have to endure dealing with BGS headaches longterm. Now is NOT time to be cheaping out. This Man has it right......... get what you are going to use and learn with it........ Education always has a cost.......but you will be better off to learn with what you are going to use.......JimT

Well, I use no app tape on Digital Print alot and felt squeegee is a must........also stripes like he was using.... need no app tape....why waste material, its not being cheap......its being smart, we all need to save where we can.......Right? Also if you wet the back as you pull off the backing.....it will not stick to its self... just work as fast as you can......and you young men should be able to do that.....I can and I am 66......lol
