I bought this thing to have a little fun with, and now it's about to get thrown in the dumpster.... I have had this about a year, but I have not used it hardley til this evening. I cut out about 10 5" ribbons for my wife, and it stopped mid-cut, displaying "waiting". I closed out sign blazer, but no change on the plotter. I turned it off ofr a bit, then still no power. I slid the back cover off to check power going to one of the boards with my multi-meter, and power up to that. I pressed on the chip to check that they were in, and still nothing. checked all the grounds, all good Is there anything we can do here? I spent some cash on this thing and it's useless to me now! I fi can't fix it, it'll get tossed...so much for my short lived hobby!

well, right when i bought my plotter, i got my vynal from them....stuff is very thin, some are damn near transparent....... When i get through this I have, I will be investing in better stuff

thanks Pbear! problem 1 ... I was using Safari when I downloaded other files, it doesn't like AI files, wants to save them as a text. Open us firefox, and problem solved. I got it right, and just printed a sheet of 20 out...wife is already weeding them to give out at her next support meeting! thanks for all ya'lls help...

ok..because I'm an idiot!! LOL! OK, i did that, but the image is ROUGH...i'm trying to figure out how to fix it...not having much luck....

hell there, I just stared fooling around with this thing. I bought a pcut off the 'bay, along with the signblazer software (still cant get it registered). I just been messing with doing some names for guys at work, masks for model cars and such. I do a little airbrushing, so when I get the hang, i will be doing my own graphics masks... hope to learn a lot ! Jeff

I did the search and found a few posted, one had an .eps file attached, but I could not open it (illustrator 9). My wife is after me to cut some out, but being the amateur that I am, all I can do is get aggravated! I'm using sign blazer and a pcut plotter. I attached the one that she wants...please help!
