Just to update on driver problem. After purchasing new cutter(but not from Desay) I discovered that if you used the Desay Tiger 1000 driver in Flexi 8.5 my Master XY300P cut with no problem. So much for bad motherboard as Desay wanted me to believe(Dave wanted to sell new motherboard at $160.00) It just goes to show that it does pay to try other drivers trial and error.

Is there another driver besides Desay XY300P to run Master brand cutter in Flexi 8.5 Starter v2 build 1355? What I was hoping for is a generic that would run this cutter.

That was my reasoning. Not sure that is correct or not. Still waiting on answer from SAI (Flexi). They have been very good to reply during their hours of operation.

Just to update. I finally got width I wanted by using Roland PNC1410 as cutter driver instead of PNC1000.Not sure if this is good or not. Everything seems to be working correctly with this setting. Have made several cuts . So far so good. Someone havwe a better or correct way to do this please post.

I tried all kinds combinations to no avail using Roland PNC-1000 as cutter type. Finally I decided to just start and try each cutter listed for Roland PNC When I got to the Roland PNC 1410 It finally would let me do a user defined to get the 24" width I wanted. So far everything seems to be working correctly. I guess time will tell. I appreciate all the help so far. If anyone still has a better way or a more correct way let me know. For now at least I can get back to cutting.

Have new Mh721 cutter. I am using Flexi 8.5v2 build 1355 on a operating system of Vista. Having trouble getting width to set on program manager. 18.5 is max width. Tried to do user defined but get error box saying to enter size 0 to18.5" when I tried to enter 24" as width. I want to use 24" vinyl. Tried to check out forum for answer but no luck. Any suggestions?

No. When I go to user defined and try to enter 24" a box comes up and says to enter a number between 0-18.5".

Have 2 choices User Defined or 18.500 x 62.000in. Can adjust down but not up. Try to go up with user defined get message please enter number between 0 and 18.5. Looked thru other Roland drivers found out that PNC 1410 will alow larger working material but not sure machine will work with that setting. Have not tried yet.

When I try to set the max width on material to be used the largest shown is 18.5 width. Some of my layouts cover 20" to 21" wide. I tried to do custom set to 24". Get error box telling me to chose a width 18.5 or less. What am I doing or done wrong? What can I do to correct this?
