thanks - hopefully someone has a program and will chime in I'll let you know if I hear anything off board.

I am looking into design programs and would like something with simple script but the ability to have my customer select their font, size, colors etc and give a price to them for checkout. I see SignSite and a couple others that I forgot their names right now but I was wondering if anyone uses these programs and if they are worth the cost or if there is a sipmle script out there that could be used that wont cost an arm and a leg.

Mine is about 2 years in my hands but I got it used. I use it several times a week some big stuff, some little, a few banners here and there & shirts. Tried a bit of everything. I love it and have had no issues after the initial setup. Enjoy your new toy

lol - I'm with you. It will only save as .plt SB only opens .SBD files BUT I can save the design as a .tiff and then import into SB and then monochrome & re-vectorize to cut. I was just hoping to cut out a couple steps. At least I can do that much - Its something :-) Thanks HugoV - I am designing it all in Cadworx cut the layouts/designs are very easy for the school decals I am doing. Click - edit, change styles etc. add clipart and boom all done.

I am hoping someone can help. I am cutting with my copam and cutting with Vector Cut from Cadworx. Problem is, I can cut a single clipart design sillohette without any problems BUT any time I try to cut text or a clip with text or a clip with cutouts or anything other than a single item, My cutter puts diagional lines right through the design like it is trying to line things up THEN it does another cut, starting a little ways into the design straight across the whole sheet of vinyl. Even if I have listed the vinyl as a smaller sheet it still goes up and across diagionally the length and width of the whole sheet of vinyl in the cutter! AGGGHH I have sign blazer and that works fine but i cannot design in Cadworx and send to my other cut program Can anyone help??? PLEASE

I'm one of the unlucky ones I'm at about 78 counts I run on Vista - If someone knows a version or good link please let me know

I have a few files that are .wmf or .ai files that have overlapping /hidden parts of course if I go to frame you see them there. Is there a certain way I should be exporting them to .eps so it only exports the outline that I see - ok - not making sense I'm sure - here is one... I think this is the right one It looks good but when it is sent to cut there are overlaping lines that get cut that shouldn't It also does this with some stick pp that are in wmf files that I edit in .ai and export in .eps ( any ideas to help? thanks!

ok - I'm gona try signblazer. Levi helped me online and my computer just wont read the drivers. He got it to cut Yay- BUT - I cant get it to cut myself now -I type a word and hit cut, cut tile, it sends to cutter traces the name in the screen, and nothing *sigh* Any ideas? Figured it out - Black blazer??? I clicked it and it cut -no idea what that is but hey - it worked. thanks to all for being here.

i was able to save as version 8 and use it to open but when i cut it cut a very large portion of a small part of the file - yes I checked the size - it seems as it wont read the size of the vinyl. It trys to load for a super long time I am only trying to do a 11x8

ok after all the issues last night I was able to get it to test cut the signcut logo But now... I go to .ai (c3) and open a eps file or .ai file and after it opens I show no send to signcut - I saw it before on my old computer... help - I even reloaded signcut.

Yay - Something must have happened last night - i know i had to change my printer usb because it wasnt reading it. and my plotter wasnt showing com 1 just com 3. Now after redownloading my printer I show com 1 just tried to do a cut - YAAAAAYYYYYYY!!! Thank you all so very much! Your a lifesaver - **BIG Sigh** Now I can get my order to them by tomorrow! Thank you - I ranb out and got the 9 pin last night but am still unsure of the settings. At least I know to keep it at com 1 - Thank you.

Has anyone tried a 9pin to a 9 pin? if so, what should I have everything set to? I am at my last hope over 36 hrs straight trying to get it to work. no one around here sells a parallel port. RS had a 9 pin to 9 pin -I got it in hopes of it working since I have an open 9pin I cant get it to cut - I dont know what settings would possibly work. heeeelllllllllllpppp

the ones I see online look like they go to a 9pin? my cable is 25 pin on both sides. I have a 9 pin avail on my computer. do they sell a 25 pn to a 9pin?? I called Fry's and they dont have serial cards
