  1. Man this is irritating.  I just cut 60 inch long with two lines of text.  It tracked perfectly, maybe moved an 1/8 which I can live with.  As soon as it cut the rectangle around the letters, the tracking went off by almost an inch and cut through my design.  I guess I'll have to turn off the weeding and cut around it myself until I can figure this out.

  2. Ok, this is driving me nuts.  I run the vinyl back and forth 3 or 4 times beyond the length that I'm planning to cut.  Vinyl doesn't drift at all.  If it drifts it is no more than a millimeter over really long runs.

As soon as I start cutting it drifts all over the place.  Usually 1/2 - 3/4 inch over 5-6 feet.  Sometimes to the right and sometimes to the left.  Can the drag of the blade really make this much difference?  Cutting at 120 pressure and 50-60 on the speed.

  3. I had this happen today in fact.  Took the blade out and there was a peice of vinyl stuck to the blade.  I try to clean my blade with alcohol every few days to make sure it isn't clogged up with glue from the vinyl.

Another problem I had was the cutter reset to the default pressure.  I had it set at 120 and it went back to something else.  Now I double check every time to make sure it is set correctly.  Just a thought.

  4. Well, I've had a few good weeks without any problems.  I track the vinyl back and forth 2 or 3 times for long runs (48 - 84")  It tracks perfectly and maybe drifts a millimeter or two.  Then I start cutting and usually on the return run of the outline it starts to drift.  Usually 1/2 inch or so.  Right now I'm running 4 lines of text. Usually it starts with the first letter or two and then does the outline of the entire job.  The drift seems to effect the first letter or two with the alignment.  A few times the letters cut over each other and I had to make the bad letters over again.  I've learned to live with it up to this point, but I'm wondering if there is a fix.  Would 4 pinch rollers work?
