    PDF to EPS?

Try this. Just import the EPS in signblazer and start cutting. You may have to flip the image if you don't want it to be reversed. deer.eps deer.eps

    Vehicle Magnet

$35 for the set. Tough to compete with the online auction site. However, I did a $330 job for them which included other signs.

    Need help with this

I have this logo as an EPS, but I can't get it to cut. I imported it, but it would not cut the shapes. It's a huge file and it has 29,000 objects. Is there something else I need to do? truck_window.eps truck_window.eps

    Need help with this

Imagine my surprise when the cutter was trying to cut thousands of little rectangles. Not sure what happened, but thanks for your help.
  8. Ok, this is driving me nuts. I run the vinyl back and forth 3 or 4 times beyond the length that I'm planning to cut. Vinyl doesn't drift at all. If it drifts it is no more than a millimeter over really long runs. As soon as I start cutting it drifts all over the place. Usually 1/2 - 3/4 inch over 5-6 feet. Sometimes to the right and sometimes to the left. Can the drag of the blade really make this much difference? Cutting at 120 pressure and 50-60 on the speed.
  9. SOLUTION!!! Lowered the pressure to 100. Slowed the speed down to 30. Replaced the blade. Nearly perfect for a 44" run. I'm cutting 7" high stripes for a van and they need to be exact or at least +/- 1/8".
  10. Man this is irritating. I just cut 60 inch long with two lines of text. It tracked perfectly, maybe moved an 1/8 which I can live with. As soon as it cut the rectangle around the letters, the tracking went off by almost an inch and cut through my design. I guess I'll have to turn off the weeding and cut around it myself until I can figure this out.
  11. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but I'm doing a multi colored window and the white outline doesn't line up. In fact the outline has different thickness because of the drift, where the outline is supposed to be the same around all of the letters.
  12. What blade do you have? What pressure and speed do you normally run? I have a 24" and I'm using the stock 45 degree blades that came with it.
  13. cybe....willing to share that as a word document so I can edit for my own use?
  14. Since I'm mostly sending this to customers that have probably never installed vinyl before, I picked the top hinge. I agree with Ken on this one. You could probably go either top down or work from the center hinge.
  15. Well, here is what I have so far. I would like to add a few step by step pictures to this, but I don't have them yet. If anyone has a few pictures they would like to share, I'll add them to the document for everyone to use. vinyl graphics installation instructions.doc vinyl graphics installation instructions.doc
  16. That's a start. I'm working on something that I'll post later.

  19. I had this happen today in fact. Took the blade out and there was a peice of vinyl stuck to the blade. I try to clean my blade with alcohol every few days to make sure it isn't clogged up with glue from the vinyl. Another problem I had was the cutter reset to the default pressure. I had it set at 120 and it went back to something else. Now I double check every time to make sure it is set correctly. Just a thought.
  20. Well, I've had a few good weeks without any problems. I track the vinyl back and forth 2 or 3 times for long runs (48 - 84") It tracks perfectly and maybe drifts a millimeter or two. Then I start cutting and usually on the return run of the outline it starts to drift. Usually 1/2 inch or so. Right now I'm running 4 lines of text. Usually it starts with the first letter or two and then does the outline of the entire job. The drift seems to effect the first letter or two with the alignment. A few times the letters cut over each other and I had to make the bad letters over again. I've learned to live with it up to this point, but I'm wondering if there is a fix. Would 4 pinch rollers work?
  21. Just got my PCUT setup and plugged in. I've been playing with the software for a few days while I was waiting for FedEx to deliver it. I followed through the directions and set up the driver and the COM settings. When I go to cut, nothing happens. Just says 'On Line' on the screen. If there is anyone online tonight I would really appreciate the help.
