It seems like tools such as Dimensions, Registration marks, shape tools, and shadows would be options used for vinyl sign making. Not available on the version I have?

I ran into the same problem today. I think this feature is only available in SignBlazer Pro, not available in SignBlazer Elements.

I like them both, but the first one is more symmetric. The one with the state makes the flags hard to make out.

Instruction manual on the Signblazer Elements CD show all of the features and how to use them. I guess I assumed the features in the instructions were for the software on the CD. I guess I need to buy the Pro version or Flexi.

Started working on this the other day and I would love to get some feedback from anyone. This is my first logo where I designed it myself. Previous logos I've sent out to have designed. Any help would be appreciated. Feel free to post positive and negative comments. I can take it.

I read somewhere that people measure the front and back of the vinyl to make sure it is running straight. I know the PCUT doesn't have a ruler in the back, but there is one in the front. Is it helpful to measure before you run the vinyl back and forth to check the tracking?

Have you had any problems with tracking with the vinyl. I've read a lot of complaints about lettering being off by a few inches over long runs.

Well, I switched from USB to the Serial cable and it works now. I'm currently cutting using the plotter pen because I don't have vinyl yet. Seems to be working ok for now.

Regarding Business cards in the Halloween bag. (further up this thread) I was thinking of doing magnet business cards and including a vinyl sticker of the local school logo. It's football season and everyone has this stuff on their car to support their team. Don't forget to give out good candy too!

Is there any way to convert AI files to EPS? I found a few files online and within this forum that were only posted as AI files.

I would love this file as well. My son's preschool would love this.

I used Sign Blazer. Basically I overlayed three ovals, blue, red and white. Then I put the text over the white oval. Is there another program I should use? I have Inkscape, but I'm haven't learned all of the features yet.

You might try www.myfonts.com You can upload the font and it will give you the closest matches available. Click on "WhatTheFont". Hope this helps.
