4 x 24 foot sign for a Tobacco Shop. Easy customer, they wanted it simple. Have to meet with them for the windows and marquee.

A friend of mine has a 1991 Winnebago that he would like me to restripe. The factory vinyl is now completely "imbedded" in the fiberglass, please see pics. Impossible to remove. I took a sample and laid it over the vinyl that is there after it was sanded by the owner. It did not look bad at all. Does anyone have any further suggestions? I am not charging the guy. But if I were, does anyone have any idea what would be fair. Just want to know in case anything like this in the future turns up. Thanks.

I have a customer who would like a 4 x 24 foot sign. I intend to letter 3 4 x 8 corrugated plastic sheets. (unless someone has a better suggestion). There is already a frame that I will attach to (install). It will be a pretty simple design: Store Name What they do Phone number Additional sub line with accessories, etc... Maybe a graphic. In addition there will be a 2 x 4 for mall marquee. Doing more signage then carpet cleaning as of late, go figure. THANKS!

Since doing this I have had other renters in the mall where I am asking me to do signs and storefronts for them as well. I want to charge what is appropriate for the work I am doing. I don't want to do the work at a price that hurts signmakers who do this for a living. What would have you guys charged for the services below? Thanks, it is a big help. I should post a pic of my dining room table! LOL Would love to have a little shop where I could just leave my tools where I last used them. For every project I have to set up and break down. I like they way you have your shop. Very neat and orderly. FYI, in my area I rent a 600 square foot storefront for 400 per month along a busy highway. 438 including taxes, trash, water and outdoor lights. It is for my carpet cleaning business. Would love to have a shop for making signs, but there are a LOT of guys with shops and I have no idea how many working out of their homes. Here is a photo of the store. If I have a customer that wants more then a "standard" color, I charge them the price of the roll plus the shipping cost. I am quoting a job for a customer now that wants to use fluorescent. I will price the job and then add a $60 dollar up-charge over regular vinyl. Then it will be their option. Chances are they will opt for the regular color. If you don't do this you will always be at the whim of special orders and stuck with product that you will not be able to use.

I just got the one from US cutter. Worth every penny. Cuts your application time in half and improves quality. APPRoller Tape Application.

Finished job. Went to 3 sign makers in area. (Didn't have to travel far as there are a lot here). Threw out lowest price which I thought was very low, 450. Averaged two other prices. I charged 700 installed on plastic or 900 on aluminum which they chose. For a few smaller item as well total bill was 1,350.

I am new to sign making as a side business and looking to charge appropriate pricing. I did this storefront marquee and windows. Marquee was already in place, just repainted. I don't want to say what I charged until after I hear some opinions. Thanks!!!

Actually I live in Holiday, the store is in New Port Richey, Route 19, but I do a lot of work in Palm Harbor. It is a nice area. My wife wants us to move there. I see that I posted this thread in the wrong category. I am going to repost in pricing.
