  1. none that I know of, that you can actually export Corel draw to as a plug in.  Only with more expensive cutters like Roland and their software  and Graphtec and their software,  Corel is a design software,  You still need a cutting software for your cutter.    Sign Blazer is free and as a design software, inkscape is free and will work with your cutter.

  2. I would appreciate any help or advise. I exported this image from AI and imported it into signblazer. When I open it I monochrome it and the I vectorise it. IT COMES OUT HORRIBLE EVERY TIME! I am doing the red and green only, the don't want the black outline. I have gotten to the point where I am frustrated and need help. I don't need the text below, just the logo. Please help!

If you have AI,,,  why aren't you just vectorizing it in AI?  or inkscape  then save and  import into Signblazer

  3. every time you change different thicknesses of material, you will need to adjust the machine  force,,  then do test cuts. to make sure it works good before doing a design,  less material waste.    example,, thicker material more force.  on thicker material,  possibly both

  4.  Do you have the locking ring down tight on the blade holder? just barely be able to see it. and feel it.  most vinyl is  2mm 3mm  which is not much at all,  and you only want to be cutting the vinyl and not thru it, into the paper backing.  Set you blade and lock it down good, then you should be using your force  adjustment on the machine to cut deeper,   try test cuts, until you get the right depth,  different thicknesses of vinyl will require different force adjustments on the machine.

  5. Flexisign pro 8.1 . I went under the properties but all I see are like the port settings. Its under the production maneger right ?

NO  not in production manager  ...   I don't have  Flexi 8.1   it is under  default  JOB properties ON THE CUTTING LAYOUT screen.  cut/plot

  6.  it is is Flexi    You haven't said which Version you have,  So I can only guess.     type some text on your layout .   click cut/plot,     under the brand name in upper left corner of CUT/PLOT LAYOUT  screen is a box that say properties,   click it,  the screen changes,  go thru the tabs,  until you find  blade offset.  click apply and ok,

  7. haha, it is definitely not warm where I live. We are in Northern Illinois. We did this sign this summer. We started doing vinyl in August. I am just new to the forum, so I am posting some of the older stuff. I am a teacher and just do this on the side, so we keep ourselves busy but don't kill ourselves with business. It's fun though!

Well then I'm not so jealous   I know exactly what your feeling,  I'm in Northern Indiana

  8. The holder is as far down as it will go, and the carriage is in the track.

The arm just doesn't go down to touch the vinyl. In fact, there is no automatic up/down movement of the arm at all anymore. I can move it by hand to touch the vinyl, but it springs back up and stays there when I run a test cut. The carriage and the vinyl move fine.

I have tried running it with the cover off, and no change. All the screws are there, and the ribbon cables don't look loose or anything.

see if this little test does anything...
