on every vinyl cutter you have to adjust the length of the blade. ,that is part of the set up. blade should just be barely sticking out of the blade holder. barely see the tip. The vinyl is only 2-3mm so it does not take much blade to cut it.

your welcome, put that site in your favorites for the future

your welcome, tons of good stuff there

good idea
-
no, force is how much pressure you are putting on the blade to go down further into the vinyl.
-
first make sure your blade is barely showing. adjusting force has to do with how far your blade is out. Back up the force until it barely cuts. then start adjusting back the other way til you get good cuts.
-
if the blade holder is hitting the vinyl. than you are using too much force. It should not be touching the vinyl. That will cause the vinyl to bunch up, because the vinyl is not sliding under the blade holder, and also start with running the machine speed slow. Is this a new machine?

have you even read the Newbie Manual? You really should start there if you haven't. http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php/topic,17489.0.html

screw it up how? Cutting thru it?
-
you need to do test cuts with your vinyl and cutter, before even attempting to cut a design , should just be cutting the vinyl and not cutting the vinyl backing at all. Keep adjusting til you get a good cut doing test cuts.

here is an older manual. Sign blazer company is no longer in business, what do you mean destroy it? Is the blade out too far? Should only be out about 1/2 a credit card. and back off on the force. http://support.uscutter.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=10

hey US... heres a f******G tip!
MZ SKEETER replied to scarecrowglass's topic in Criticism and Complaints about USCutter
People who use Signblazer, ARE also using inkscape as their FREE vector program, and save their designs as an .eps, then import into Sign Blazer with no problems. you could take the time and read forum member tinaski's posts on how he uses inkscape as a plug in. and figure that out yourself. http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php/topic,27166.msg215946.html#msg215946 Or SPEND money on a cutting/design program for what YOU are needing it to do. Your complaining about FREE? Even a Roland or Graphtec ONLY gives cutting software with NO design capabilities. You have to purchase either Adobe Illustrator or Corel, to make the plug in work with their cutting software. It is CUT ONLY. I know, I have one. For $99 Flexistarter is a great cutting software, I have used it ONLY for over 4 years. with my 30" Graphtec, and it will import alot more formats than most cutting software. including inkscape. -

I think I see some on here http://all-silhouettes.com/free-vector-animals/

it all depends on what you are wanting, you may have to purchase the images you want, plenty of vector cds on EBAY or sites online. , or learn how to vectorize designs you see on the internet. Or download what is available for free here on the forum under Graphic Requests.
