well, you could ask them if this version has contour cutting.... maybe , maybe not. just a thought, But I do not use newer Pc for my business anyway. I stay with an XP. more stable, and that is what my back up computer is, that I purchased last year. an XP you can purchase them cheap on EBAY. My business computer is totally separate from my personal computer. And it should be separate computers. try adjusting your blade offset.

You can buy Oracal vinyl right from USCutter .com or if you are closer to Memphis, Signuniverse.com Or just do a search online for a sign supply store close to you.

yes, I just measured a 15" white punched Oracal 651 and it is under 15" total roll. and with the punch outs, it is about 14" cutting area.

If you have 2 holes for the blade holder, it goes in the back, the front is for the pen.

It should only be 1 file not two. in two different colors. You just pause between colors, then cut the second color, You have to make sure you have applied registration marks to the design first. and I have no idea what Winplot is.

your illustrator book tells you how to outline text.

why don't you just go into the graphics thread here in this forum, and download, an ,ai file or an .eps file and try that, Just try and import it. You can only use vectorized files.

Hello, you are stating that the Flexistarter program will not open files..... Are you sure that you are IMPORTING them? NOT OPEN... I have the Seiki cutter version of Flexistarter. and it imported files just fine. Also it is best to try an older version of Adobe illustrator like CS2. I had no problem importing CS2 files into Flexi starter. and you do not need to spend $4700 to get started, that is crazy.. They are just trying to sell you their products.
