BUT even though you can purchase these types of CDS, you cannot legally reproduce these images without permission from the owner(s) Not the cd owners, But the owners of each image, Shell, Ford, etc. http://cgi.ebay.com/81-742-eps-company-logos-vinyl-cutter-clip-art-sign-cd-/320574062943?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0 -

1/20 scale means 1" is equal to 20" Mine had a little ruler that came with my set to measure with. They are full size at 1/20 scale. They would never fit on a screen because this Jimmy is 176.8" long. I don't know about Signblazer, but in Flexi I just zoom it./and or select it and change the height x width in proportion, Can be used to show a customers vehicle with designs on it. etc.

ANY vinyl cutter will cut basic designs/text. It is up to you to learn the machine and it's capabilities. Also the software. there is a learning curve to it all. It takes, practice, practice with any machine. And do yourself a favor, and don't take orders until you learned how to run your machine. We see people on here do it all the time, Bought a cutter, don't have a clue how to even set it up, or vectorize an image to cut. already have taken orders, then want the forum members on here to bail them out of their jam. Like any business, the learning comes first. Learn to vectorize now, if you don't know how. You will need to.

Or the Copam, people seem to like them alot also.

Haven't seen any reports on the Goldcut or Ecocut too new. Older Refines seemed to be better than newer Refines. Pcut was just brought back, and people seemed to like them better than the Refines. . . If you can afford it, buy a Graphtec. You will never regret it. Just do some searches in here for the cutter names and see what results you get on it.

This walk through explains the basics of vectorising in Inkscape. Step 1) Import your image. Click File>Import, find your file and click OK. Step 2) Select the image, go to the top of the screen, click Path>Trace Bitmap. Step 3) The Trace Bitmap menu will then open. Here you can select how you want your image vectorised and adjust the settings. You can also generate a preview. Once you are happy with the preview click OK and close the Trace Bitmap screen. Step 4) Now you will have your new vector image and the old raster (bitmap, jpeg, gif etc) image stacked on top of each other. Seperate the two and delete the raster. Step 5) Play around with your new vector image!
