  1. What do your test cuts from TEST on the cutter look like? Make sure your blade depth is set correctly, To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing. You should just barely see and feel your blade tip out of the blade holder.

Follow your instructions for your cutting software. This is version 3, it should still be close for the set up. https://support.uscutter.com/support/solutions/articles/14000030650-selecting-your-cutter-in-sure-cuts-a-lot-3-pro

    Help! Best transfer tape?

Clear plastic tape is not a great choice for a business, or sending to buyers. Paper tape is the way to go. You cannot roll up big decals in plastic tape, they tunnel, and you cannot apply them wet with plastic tape. Paper tape is more universal for applications. You can use it for any size decals. Wet or dry.

    Pix Max help

You should have saved some more money and gotten a better cutter. That cutter is on the same level as the Refine MH cutter on the UScutter site, and we tell buyers not to buy it. We tell them to at least buy the SC2. It is a better cutter. Nothing more that I can help with, Contact who you bought the cutter from, They should be your tech support.

Is the software activated? I know some soft wares put a line thru it until it is activated. We have had other people on here with problems with that cutter brand. It's true you get what you pay for as far as vinyl cutters go.

Get rid of the traced imaged. First off, you don't trace text. Text never traces correctly, Type out what you want and save it and import it. You have to start with a good design first.

    Pix Max help

Until you get your blade set correctly like below, and your offset, set correctly, you will cut junk. This is how to set your blade depth correctly, And only cut text right now that is made with the text tool. You don't mention which cutting software, and start blade offset at 0.025 mm. To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing. You should barely see and feel the blade tip out of the blade holder.

    Help! Best transfer tape?

Yes, many people use R-tape. You need to write your instructions, so people know how to apply the decals correctly. What I wrote above, I write on my decals, so people know how to remove the backing. If you lift the decal off the backing, you can actually lift off the wax paper backing up with the decal. Then you will have paper stuck to your decal. You always peel the backing away. Others will probably give their experience with R-Tape.

If your going to run a business, use the correct products or your going to lose your customers real fast. Uscutter sells R-tape paper transfer tape.

    Help! Best transfer tape?

No mention of which tape you are using. You should squeegee the transfer tape real well on top. But tape face down and peel the backing away from the decal. It makes a huge difference. Never lift the decal from the backing. I only use Main Medium tack paper tape. Many of my decals are very detailed also.

    Cutting 3M 2080 vs. 1080

Start with a new blade. Always start with setting the blade correctly, This is how to set up your blade that works for your vinyl. Specs show that vinyl at 3.5 mil.. Why do you need to cut so fast? Slow the speed down. There are no magic settings. Each cutter will be different, even the same models. These blade depth settings will work for any vinyl. You have to get the blade depth correctly first, then the force. You should just barely see and feel the blade tip out of the blade holder.

It looks like they don't have their blade offset set either. That cheap cutter wouldn't have blade offset on the cutter.

    Who "owns" designs?

The Original logo is the clients. They have that design already. Fishbone statement. " Over the years he wanted some new designs and I made up a bunch". Those designs belong to FishBone, not the client according to the PM I sent.
