WOW!!! I am so excited!!!! I actually have a thread that has more than a few responses. You guys rock!!!! I appreciate the bluntness (Nona...you are da bomb!). Bayshore...thanks so much! All the rest, thanks! I think that my client is just one of many sponsors for this tournament. I don't know for sure, though. I guess I will have to ask him. Keep those cards and letters coming, folks!

Thanks for the help, gang!

Anyone have any suggestions for some cool fonts to make a 'Merry Christmas from the ...' sign? I want to do it on a 4x4 coroplast and plant it in front of our Jaycee Hall. THanks in advance! PattyT

Gotta second Grimco! They have a boatload of signs! They are pretty reasonable, too. Plus, their shipping is pretty fast. PattyT

Makes it all worthwhile, doesn't it? Nice!

Anyone use it? We were at a local sign supply sotre an dthey had some awesome looking stuff made out of it. I was wondering if we could use stencil mask or sandblast mask and hit it with either the pressure washer or a sand blaster. ANy input? Thanks! Patty

I have the opportunity to purchase a used Mutoh RJ 4000 printer cheap. Does anyone know anything about this model of printer? I have googled til my fingers fell off (that is illegal in some states ) and have not been able to find much information at all. Anything anyone can provide would be appreciated! PattyT

Well, it was a bear, but we finally got it done. We have to fix the circle around the tiger, but other than that, we are done! Here are some pics.

Thanks or the kudos, everyone. We were able to pull this off with the help of some fine folks here in the forum. I feel like I have finally done something. The tiger was a witch with a capital B. But, if he wanted a golden shotokan tiger, that was the way it was supposed to look. The sensei was pleased. Tory, I sent you a PM. PattyT

I know that I have read something about this, but I couldn't find it. Anywhere, here goes: I was trying to cut a piece of vinyl for a large banner (about 24" x 5'). The cutter slams over to the far right, makes a heck of a noise, slams to the right and hits the reset button and makes a heck of a noise. Then it decided to cut the piece of vinyl. I tried to cut another section of the banner, without changing the settings and everything worked OK. What amI doing wrong? Patty T.

Thanks, Nutmonkey, et al. I'll have to look into the drivers. Ken, I was only mucking with the vinyl sizes. On the same large banner, I had four sections to print, each about five feet long. It only messed up on the first section. But, it just hit me. I think I had a reference block WAYYYYYY down at the lower right in the banner. I wonder if I had that block clicked. That would make sense. I'll have to check it out, just to satisfy my own morbid sense of curiosity. Thanks for the quick responses, gang! PattyT

We are installing vinyl tonight on some windows. It is supposed to be in the upper 50's. Is that too cold to try to install the signs? What is the lowest temp at which vinyl would still stick? Thanks in advance. PattytT

That guy is nuts! Where are his gloves! Thanks John! I'll put up pics when we're done. Four 35x35 windows and a 3 x 10 banner. Sure will be glad to get this one done! Patty

Yeah...that would help. I use the Sign Blazer program that came with the cutter. I got the banner to cut, but it made a heck of a racket before it finally straightened itself out! Any ideas for the next time? Thanks in advance!

OK, I told my karate instructor that we would see about putting his logo on the windows of his new studio. So, I have a few questions: Do I cut the stuff in reverse and stick the vinyl on the inside of the window? His logo is a golden tiger. Would I want to use black lettering or white lettering for the rest of the text? Which colors do you guys think would show up better on the street? Thanks in advance! I am really nervous about this one. It is on a main road and lots of people would see it. PattyT

As a follow-up to my storefront customer... I met with my karate instructor. He wans red lettering on the windows. Is white the color of choice for glass windows? Do you all think that red is an OK choice? Thanks in advance for any advice you can lend. PattyT

My Sensei is opening a new karate school and he wants some quick signs to pop in the yard. He said that simple is fine. This is going on white 18x24 coroplast signs. Anyway, what do you think. How can I make them better? Thanks! PattyT golden tiger yard sign.SBD golden tiger yard sign.SBD
