you are correct that the cutter is grounded but the stand is not until connected to the cutter by the wire

The jaws will take a 1/4" + in the cutting area?

+1 and try a celancut blade on your next blade purchase - it won't fix all problems but makes it a little better

my guess is coro would be a little too thick

But Vette - How would we appreciate the Graphtec so much if we had not bought the others to compare it to! This is where a side by side comparison of the zencut black would be so good, but then again I haven't heard of a graphtec owner that would trade it for anything!

Cody, glad to hear you got it working - that old sticker didn't help to reduce the blood pressure though.

This EXACT thing just happened to me. Only mine was includes a $235 clipart cd. I still havent recieved the cd and havent heard anything about it. If i dont get it by the end of this week im going to file a complaint to the BBB. This is the first and LAST time i will order from uscutter. Im sticking with signwarehouse. They have WAAAAAY better service! Have you called them yet? last post was almost 3 years ago and just now unhappy? what steps have you taken to find out the status of your order (even when was it ordered?)?

Graphtec is a proven great product. only feedback on the zencut so far is from the guy selling them, no real user feedback to my knowledge
