pressure not working
Dakotagrafx replied to pastortommy's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Discussion
The laserpoint knife holder has a o-ring inside of it that keeps it from changing - is that missing? if not I would check and see if the blade is moving freely in the holder - is it sticking and not seating all the say to the bottom when inserted? if so some light wight oil will help that. the blade should be pulled into the holder the last little bit by a magnet. -
Thats why I asked - he must have and I couldn't' find it

how to i install serial driver
Dakotagrafx replied to Yones12's topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Support Requests
glad you got it to work -
grounding is always a good idea - just run a small wire from the cutter to the stand anywhere drivers http://support.uscutter.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=view&parentcategoryid=3&pcid=0&nav=0 or in flexi http://support.uscutter.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=44&nav=0,4 if not just use the om-60 driver - works great unplugging not a problem

how to i install serial driver
Dakotagrafx replied to Yones12's topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Support Requests
plug it in - turn on your cutting software and cut - it will recognize it and install the drive for you -
I just imported it into flexi and it wasn't a problem - needs cleanup but it would cut

I NEED SEVERAL LARGE PICTURES PRINTED

my old boss at the GIS shop gave me good advise - Always respond to calls and emails out of courtesy if nothing else. the advise has served me well! -
did you select the verctorized part of the image before exporting it to the eps? sounds like you somehow saved the raster image. would also help if you could post the final eps

Was answering without my glasses again - didn't read you already had one. it just makes it so you do not have to change it - and for a heat press and hat press you can do about the same money as a 6in1
-
The compressors are never big enough - better with a pressure feed system but they still use a lot of air. I think maybe with one of those the road crew uses you wouldn't have the wait time
-
You are so in for pee, poop or hairball in your bed tonight!
-
are you using a pigmented ink or a dye based?
-
you will be much happier with a dedicated hat press - never heard too many happy campers with the 6 in 1

Ohhhh Wait till summer - we are in a county with a lot of lakes and out of state vacationers. I always wondered why we have a tourist season and we can't hunt them!
