Here's a sign I did for one of my tattooists, a skull I painted on leather (using paint mask) to turn into a handbag and a mirror I 'desilvered' and decorated. Weeding this nearly made my eyes fall out of my head. I'll likely mount it and give it as an xmas gift. It's about 12" x 22".

I've been wanting to do one of my helmets for a while, but I kept putting it off because I was unsure of how to handle the compound curves. I saw SmokinZMan's post earlier tonight and thought, 'Screw it, I'm gonna try something.' Here is the result. I had a few issues. A couple of unresolvable wrinkles and a few wrinkles and bubbles that I managed to rub out. Do any of you have tips on photographing vinyl on glass? I did some work last week that I want to add to my portfolio, but I can't get a decent shot of it. To make matters worse the lettering is black. Every shot I take the sign is barely legible. I've tried flash, no flash, several different camera settings, standing closer, standing further, but without acceptable results. I have found that if I try to open a file from a folder that even has an .ai file in it, SignBlazer crashes. I moved all my .ai files to their own folder and SB is behaving itself now. ---------------- Now playing: Danko Jones - Fucked Up via FoxyTunes
