I'm usually pretty good with coming up designs for people other than myself since my business venture started out as a monogram designer... but this design / logo has me stumped. It is for a little league park that I do work with already. The name is "Murray Hill Athletic Association." There colors are primary silver, white & blue. They want something that can be easily made into a decal, put on shirts, etc, etc. (which remember I'm still fresh to the decal game so nothing too complex). Here's the kicker... they want something classy & a little collegiate looking. They also mentioned having the logo / design as an oval like they put in windows for college students, but I wasn't familiar with those. Any help on this design would be greatly appreciated.

I know we covered full-time jobs, websites, cutter setups & almost everything else of that nature... but I was curious... What is your vinyl business name? Do you have a slogan, logo? Do you have your vinyl business setup as an offical business? (license, taxes, etc) Do you do it as a hobby only (but sell items)? For those of you who answer the last two items... what do you feel are the benefits & disadvantages of going about it the way you do?

Your magnets look great. I want to make one for myself soon... I use to have a Saturn LS 300. As I was driving one day, a young punk didn't stop at a stop sign & drove head first into my drivers side. After he backed up, my door just POPPED back out & no damage had been done to MY car! But yes, my car couldn't hold a magnet. I guess it's a good payoff though. Safety or Magnets...

I just stopped in to hear from Grace... I heard a lot Floridians south of me lost electricity. The storm is due to hit us anywhere from tomorrow to Friday. We are under torando warnings now. What a drag!

I sure hope my trees are okay too. I have 3 pecan trees & pecan season is coming soon. I don't remember Wilma... but then again, I'm from the central east coast of Florida & have been through so many I stopped keeping track. I remember one year I was working at a summer camp & had a group of about 50 kids outside on a field playing kick ball. About 5 miles out I noticed the clouds dropping down kinda low. I kept watching & then as quick as a bullet the cloud touched down & I had to get all those kids inside a building about a 1/4 mile away. That was scary. It ended up being a water spout... but still very scary.
